Deep in the Dark Forest, ancient trees towered into the sky, flowers and grasses gave off their fragrance, and streams wound among hills-a beautiful scene brimming with life.
At a glance, exotic flowers and herbs were everywhere, every single one worth a fortune in the outside world. Tremendous booms came incessantly from farther in, as though the sky were collapsing, delivering an intensely powerful shock.
As Han Shuo ventured deeper, he suddenly discovered many intricate, mysterious magic barriers within. These magic barriers had no great destructive power; they existed purely to keep outsiders from entering.
Weblike strands of magical patterns formed a huge, abstract magical design that filled a vast area. The design obscured a great stretch of sky, generating waves of force that pushed anyone who entered back outside.
Clearly, this enormous magical design was man-made. Whoever had set up this magic array over such a vast area probably harbored no ill intent. The waves of force pushing people outward were not especially fierce or violent, but rather gentle and slow.
Standing within it, Han Shuo felt surges of tremendous force wash over him, as though hundreds of burly brutes were pushing him together. The strength exceeded his imagination. Fortunately, Han Shuo was astonishingly powerful, and his body, tempered for years by the Demonic Cultivation Art, fully proved its toughness here. Despite the immense force bearing down on him, he continued forcing his way inward bit by bit.
Strangely, in this place, the range of Han Shuo's Divine Sense was noticeably smaller than outside. He could only vaguely sense activity within a few miles around him.
The more this happened, the more curious Han Shuo became about the depths of the Dark Forest, and he made up his mind to investigate.
