In the Abyss, where the strong preyed on the weak, nearly every high-level abyss creature depended on one of these five great demon kings for survival. Over the years, the five great demon kings had waged endless wars against one another, never abandoning their ambition to unite the Abyss.
The highest-ranking races and beings of the Abyss Realm were unlike those ugly, filthy abyss creatures. They possessed not only tremendous strength but also exceptional intelligence, and when they were not fighting, they could assume various forms. A human appearance was generally the form they displayed most often.
Across the vast Abyss Realm, the five great demon kings waged war year-round. Endless battle seemed to be the Abyss Realm's eternal, unchanging truth. Every day, every moment, low-level abyss creatures fought and died under the command of higher-level beings.
The green-eyed girl was named Haimanna, and the purple-eyed girl was named Xierfu. Both came from Battle Demon Valley. Its master, Keluoxius, was one of the seven capable generals serving Manticore, a great demon king of the Abyss Realm.
Battle Demon Valley, where Keluoxius resided, bordered Poison Fang Fort, which belonged to Red Fang, a capable general serving the Great Demon King Goran Dell. Red Fang was a powerful member of the Three-Eyed Race and had been locked in constant conflict with Keluoxius's Battle Demon Valley.
