Beneath his feet was the enormous Plane Teleportation Array, with several storerooms beside it. Beyond the open doors lay the sky that remained dim all year round, dense death element, and white bones covering the ground.
Yes, this was the Death Cemetery!
Blood Spirit, Jiebier, and the others stepped off the Plane Teleportation Array, looking around curiously and clicking their tongues in wonder.
"Master, is this your homeland?" Blood Spirit walked outside, looked at the bones covering the ground, and took in the air before asking.
"Yes, but this place is entirely enclosed by a barrier. Outside is what this world really looks like." Han Shuo could barely contain his delight and answered casually. After a little thought, he instructed them, "I don't know how long I've been gone. Stay here for now. I need to see how things stand on the Qio Continent. Once I've familiarized myself with this place again, I'll come and take you out."
Jiebier, Blood Spirit, and the others had no objections. They had already noticed Han Shuo's excitement and knew he was eager to find out how the world had changed since his departure.
After giving Jiebier and the others a few instructions about things they needed to watch out for, Han Shuo had them all leave the Plane Teleportation Array. He stood in its center again and activated it for short-range transport.
Light flashed, and Han Shuo vanished from the Death Cemetery, arriving in the secret chamber excavated deep beneath the City Lord's Mansion in Buleiteer City.
