Ch. 851Gathering Spirits, Reshaping the Land

Han Shuo transformed a remote valley in the Chaos Lands into the beginnings of a powerful defensive array, using the Myriad Demon Cauldron and the Five Elements Armored Corpses. When he activated the central mechanism and drew elemental energy into the valley, Zoqi was stunned and wondered which element's Main God Han Shuo was.

  • Han Shuo chose the remote valley for his base after Zoqi said the Five Great Monarchs and other powerful forces were unlikely to claim it.
  • Han Shuo sent Lolth, Lomon, Zoqi, and the others away to gather materials or explore while he and the Five Elements Armored Corpses began reshaping the valley.
  • Han Shuo spent weeks rearranging the trees, sharpening the shrubs, placing rune-covered boulders, and setting up magic arrays, though the work remained incomplete without Little Earth and more materials.
  • Han Shuo activated the arrays with the Myriad Demon Cauldron and an Upper God demon head, causing elemental energy to flow into the valley and grow denser.
  • Zoqi was horrified by the change and asked Han Shuo which element's Main God he was.

Ch. 852I really admire you!

Han Shuo demonstrated a valley formation that raised elemental concentration nearly thirtyfold, then headed toward the central Deep Valley to meet Han Hao and Han Tu. Meanwhile, Saras ordered an investigation into Han Shuo, and Han Hao considered a group of young gods asking to follow him.

  • Han Shuo showed Zoqi, Lolth, and Lomon how his formation drew the eight elements into Demon-Hidden Valley, eventually raising their concentration to nearly thirty times its original level.
  • Han Shuo concealed the arrays and left for the central Deep Valley with Lolth, Zoqi, the Wooden Armored Corpse, and the others.
  • At Celestial God Peak, Calver told Saras that Han Shuo might be stronger than an Upper God, and Saras ordered him to investigate Han Shuo and the disappearance of Yingzhun's mark.
  • Han Tu worried that Han Shuo had not arrived at Deep Valley, while Han Hao remained calm and said their father was likely delayed.
  • Several young Middle Gods asked Han Hao if they could follow him; after he rejected them for being too weak, he asked how many Black Crystal Coins they had.

Ch. 853Look Further Ahead

Han Hao recruited young people from influential families in the Twelve Great Divine Domains, while Han Shuo entered Deep Valley and learned that Osoe wanted to meet him. The chapter ended with Han Shuo arriving as Han Hao’s new recruits pledged loyalty to both of them.

  • Han Hao offered the young people a place under him for five hundred thousand Black Crystal Coins each and promised to help them return to their families once they grew strong.
  • Han Hao explained to Han Tu that he planned to develop the recruits into allies who could help them control families in the Twelve Great Divine Domains.
  • Han Shuo arrived at Deep Valley with Lomon, Zoqi, Lolth, and the others, and introduced himself to the checkpoint guard Luolong.
  • Luolong tested Han Shuo about Yingzhun’s death, then invited him to meet Osoe; Han Shuo agreed to the meeting.
  • Han Shuo found Han Hao as the young people handed over their Black Crystal Coins and swore loyalty, and Han Hao told them to obey Han Shuo as well.

Ch. 854Han Hao, my son!

  • Han Hao told Han Shuo he had subdued a group of young people and planned to use them to control their families.
  • Han Shuo introduced Han Hao to Lomon and Zoqi, and Han Hao gave Han Jin Yingzhun's head, whose imprisoned divine soul Han Jin began to torment.
  • Han Shuo sent Lomon, Zoqi, and the Five Elements Armored Corpses to gather information and buy materials for Demon-Hidden Valley's magic arrays.
  • Han Hao warned Han Shuo that his Godhunter identity made it dangerous to stay with him, then left to meet his own subordinates.
  • Han Shuo bought materials in Deep Valley as more than two hundred followers gathered around him.
  • Luolong told Han Shuo that Osoe wanted to see him, and Han Shuo readily agreed.

Ch. 855The magic arrays were complete

Han Shuo secured a Monarch Shop in Deep Valley from Osoe and spent two years turning Demon-Hidden Valley into a heavily fortified base. With the arrays and defenses complete, he gathered his people and began issuing orders across the Chaos Lands.

  • Osoe offered Han Shuo a Monarch Shop in exchange for first priority to buy each batch of medicines Han Shuo personally refined, and Han Shuo accepted.
  • Luolong transferred a ten-thousand-square-meter Monarch Shop to Han Shuo for Celestial Pivot Pharmacy.
  • Han Shuo and his followers spent three months acquiring materials, then returned to Demon-Hidden Valley and reactivated its Spirit Gathering Array.
  • Han Shuo and the Five Elements Armored Corpses built underground chambers, mountain passages, buildings, and layers of magic arrays over two years, making the valley deadly to intruders.
  • Han Shuo gathered everyone and began issuing orders aimed at the whole of the Chaos Lands.

Ch. 856Expansion

After completing Demon-Hidden Valley’s defenses, Han Shuo sent his forces to conquer the surrounding region while he prepared to cultivate. When Han Hao killed a subordinate of Saras, Han Shuo left to find him, while Han Hao scattered his Godhunters and fled as Saras pursued him.

  • Han Shuo completed the Myriad Demon Annihilation Array in Demon-Hidden Valley and ordered Lomon, Zoqi, Gelong, and the Demon Guards to subdue nearby forces.
  • Han Shuo stayed in the valley to cultivate and prepare for his tribulation as his forces began expanding outward.

  • Han Hao ordered his nearly five hundred Godhunters to split up and avoid Deep Valley while he departed alone in the opposite direction.
  • Three days later, Saras arrived at Han Hao’s gathering place, identified the direction he had fled, and pursued him.

Ch. 857Make your move!

Han Hao evaded Saras by changing his soul mark and escaping with a dangerous demonic art, then recovered and hunted to regain his strength. Unable to find Han Hao, Han Shuo arrived alone at Celestial God Peak.

  • After sensing Saras searching the seabed, Han Hao fled and confronted him in a forested mountain range.
  • Saras offered Han Hao a chance to submit, but Han Hao refused and challenged him to attack.
  • Saras's lightning strike destroyed the surrounding mountainside, but Han Hao escaped by changing his soul mark and using the Blood-Rending Demonic Escape Art.
  • Han Hao hid in a cave for half a month to heal, then hunted nearby people and devoured their divine power to recover.
  • Unable to find Han Hao, Han Shuo arrived alone at the foot of Celestial God Peak.

Ch. 858Storming the mountain

After failing to find Han Hao, Han Shuo stormed Celestial God Peak to confront Saras and demolished the mountain’s defenses while slaughtering its guards. He reached the final barrier at the summit, where the Cauldron Spirit warned him that Saras’s lightning screen was extremely powerful.

  • Han Shuo searched Celestial God Peak for Saras but could not sense him, then decided to enter the mountain despite the risk of provoking a direct conflict.
  • Han Shuo killed a ten-man guard squad, and the Myriad Demon Cauldron absorbed their divine souls.
  • The Myriad Demon Cauldron smashed through Celestial God Peak’s Energy Towers and barriers as Han Shuo advanced toward the summit.
  • Han Shuo unleashed his Flying Swords and Heavenly Demon Blades against Saras’s subordinates, killing those who tried to stop him.
  • The Cauldron Spirit warned Han Shuo about a powerful lightning screen surrounding the mountaintop.

Ch. 859Elemental Soul

Han Shuo merged his death and destruction domains and awakened the elemental soul within his destruction orbs, allowing them to shatter Saras's lightning barrier. As Saras's subordinates gathered to fight him, Saras sensed the barrier's destruction and rushed back from Snow Ice Peak.

  • The Cauldron Spirit warned Han Shuo that the lightning barrier would harm the demon heads, so Han Shuo recalled the Myriad Demon Cauldron and merged his death and destruction domains.
  • Han Shuo's destruction orbs absorbed death elements and gained consciousness, then attacked the barrier and destroyed its living lightning forces.
  • The Cauldron Spirit told Han Shuo that he had comprehended the elemental soul and warned that a heavenly tribulation might descend.
  • Han Shuo climbed toward the summit as Saras's subordinates reacted in fear, then hundreds of guards gathered to surround him.
  • At Snow Ice Peak, Saras sensed that his barrier had broken and left Vasias to return to Celestial God Peak.

Ch. 860Madness

Han Shuo slaughtered Saras's forces across Celestial God Peak and fell into a frenzied demonic state before lightning restored his reason. Saras finally arrived and attacked him, but Han Shuo survived the strike and flew up to meet him.

  • Han Shuo unleashed his demonic artifacts and flying swords, killing more than three hundred of Saras's subordinates and devouring their souls.
  • Han Shuo lost control of his divine sense and entered a state of indiscriminate slaughter, while his indestructible body shrugged off his enemies' attacks.
  • Saras struck Han Shuo with a bolt of lightning that restored his reason, and Han Shuo recognized him as the final hurdle of the Heavenly Demon Transformation.
  • Saras attacked Han Shuo with thunder and lightning, but Han Shuo intercepted the lightning power within his body and remained unharmed.
  • Han Shuo grinned, flew toward Saras, and shaped the surrounding baleful energy into two black dragons to attack him.

Ch. 861The annihilation of heaven and earth

Han Shuo fought Saras on Celestial God Peak and was nearly overwhelmed when Saras drew on the faith of his billions of believers. In the midst of a breakthrough, Han Shuo triggered the Heavenly Annihilation Realm tribulation, leaving him to face forces that threatened to destroy him and the mountain.

  • Han Shuo recalled the Myriad Demon Cauldron and the Seventeen Flying Swords and fought Saras with his full strength, but Saras's lightning domain kept him on the defensive.
  • Saras drew faith power from his followers across several planes, killing them all and greatly increasing his strength.
  • Saras's empowered lightning battered Han Shuo until his Heavenly Demon Indestructible Body began to fail.
  • Han Shuo gained an insight into the annihilation of heaven and earth, and Saras suddenly lost control of the lightning around Celestial God Peak.
  • Elemental and other forces converged on the mountain as the Cauldron Spirit identified Han Shuo's Heavenly Annihilation Realm tribulation.
  • A meteorite struck Han Shuo, who realized the gathering powers had targeted him and that surviving them was his only path to a breakthrough.

Ch. 862Surviving the Tribulation

Han Shuo endured the demonic tribulation on Celestial God Peak, surviving successive elemental attacks and an assault on his mind that tested his resolve. After the tribulation ended, he escaped as Saras hesitated nearby.

  • Saras lost control of the lightning and realized the upheaval was targeting Han Shuo, so he stopped trying to attack and watched from the sidelines.
  • Han Shuo used the Seventeen Flying Swords and Demon-Slaying Edge to shatter a giant meteorite, then replenished his strength with Vitality-Recovery Pills.
  • Han Shuo fused his destruction and death divine domains, which weakened the gathering attacks and drew death and negative energies into a protective barrier.
  • As the tribulation continued, Han Shuo exhausted his demonic essence and burned the Demon Heads' soul power to withstand the attacks.
  • Han Shuo overcame inner demons by fighting the vengeful ghosts without power, and his strength gradually returned as the tribulation ended.
  • Han Shuo found Saras watching him atop the ruined Celestial God Peak, told him they would meet again, and vanished in a cloud of blood mist.

Ch. 863A reputation that shook the land

After escaping Saras, Han Shuo hid in a mire to recover and consolidate his breakthrough while news of his attack on Celestial God Peak spread across the Chaos Lands. As Saras hunted him and Osoe chose to remain neutral, Han Hao moved to unite the Godhunters, confronting Boro with a demand for submission.

  • Saras ordered his surviving subordinates to find and kill Han Shuo, then sought help from Vasias and Rogg.
  • Han Shuo concealed himself in a mire, where his Demonic Essence slowly recovered and his state of mind continued to break through.
  • Luolong reported Saras's losses to Osoe, who ordered a search for Han Shuo but told his forces to remain neutral.
  • The devastation at Celestial God Peak spread through the Chaos Lands, making Brian the region's most talked-about name.
  • Han Hao visited Boro and demanded that he submit, then attacked when Boro challenged his authority.

Ch. 864Gathering Storm

Han Hao defeated Boro and brought his Godhunters under his command, while Demon-Hidden Valley prepared for an attack after Saras learned its location. Saras gathered his forces, and the chapter ended with him arriving near the valley.

  • Han Hao overwhelmed Boro with his Bone Spikes, then persuaded him to submit after revealing that Brian was his father.
  • Boro ordered Kediya and his other subordinates to put away their weapons, placing his people under Han Hao's command.
  • At Demon-Hidden Valley, Lomon, Lolth, Zoqi, Gelong, and the Five Elements Armored Corpses decided to stay and defend the valley while Han Shuo was missing.
  • Luolong told Osoe that Saras had learned the valley's location and planned to attack; Osoe decided to go there himself and assess the situation.
  • Saras gathered five or six hundred subordinates on a mountain near Demon-Hidden Valley, then arrived there half a month later.

Ch. 865The might of Demon-Hidden Valley

Saras led nearly a thousand subordinates to attack Demon-Hidden Valley and destroy Han Shuo’s forces, while the defenders trusted the valley’s protections. The first wave died in its poisonous miasma, and when Saras’s wind cultivators tried to disperse it, the Five Elements Armored Corpses made the cloud spread across the attackers.

  • Saras ordered his subordinates to charge into Demon-Hidden Valley and kill everyone inside.
  • Han Huo, Han Mu, and Han Tu reassured Lolth, Lomon, Zoqi, and the others that the valley’s arrays would stop Saras’s forces.
  • Saras’s cannon fodder descended into the poisonous miasma and died despite their protective potions and armor.
  • Saras’s wind cultivators summoned hurricanes and tornadoes, but the miasma gathered over Demon-Hidden Valley again.
  • Han Mu made the poisonous cloud miasma spread outward, and the messy-haired old man ordered Saras’s subordinates to retreat as the cloud engulfed them.

Ch. 866Lure the enemy deeper

Han Shuo’s defenses at Demon-Hidden Valley killed dozens of Saras’s Middle God subordinates, but Saras began bombarding the valley with Heavenly Thunder Annihilation. Han Mu then made the Poison Cloud Miasma appear to vanish, luring Saras and his forces into the valley.

  • The Poison Cloud Miasma killed fifty or sixty of Saras’s Middle God subordinates, while several Upper Gods escaped.
  • Osoe examined the poisonous vapors, recognized their extraordinary danger, and decided not to make Han Shuo his enemy.
  • Saras gathered lightning power and bombarded Demon-Hidden Valley with Heavenly Thunder Annihilation.
  • Han Mu used the ancient trees in the magic arrays to make the Poison Cloud Miasma stream into holes in the valley.
  • Believing Saras’s lightning had destroyed the defenses, Saras ordered his forces to charge into Demon-Hidden Valley.

Ch. 867What a welcome!

Saras’s troops entered Demon-Hidden Valley and were slaughtered by its illusionary Magic Arrays, forcing Saras to descend and destroy the traps himself. As Osoe watched Saras unleash his full strength, he left hiding and flew toward the valley.

  • Saras ordered his men to attack Demon-Hidden Valley after its poisonous clouds and miasma disappeared, unaware that the exposed buildings were an illusion.
  • Saras’s men landed in the valley and became trapped in strange Magic Arrays that confused their minds and killed them.
  • Han Mu, Han Tu, and the Five Elements Armored Corpses watched the attacks through mirror surfaces while Lolth, Lomon, Zoqi, and Gelong reacted to the slaughter.
  • Osoe observed the valley’s defenses and resolved not to become Han Shuo’s enemy.
  • After the screams grew louder, Saras ordered his men to retreat, but they could not escape the arrays.
  • Saras entered the valley, resisted the arrays’ attacks, and destroyed three of them, while Osoe flew out of hiding toward Demon-Hidden Valley.

Ch. 868Emerging from the Cocoon

Saras was trapped in Demon-Hidden Valley’s essence-draining array, but Han Jin and the others knew the valley could hold him for only half an hour and prepared to retreat. Han Shuo emerged from his long absence and, finding Celestial God Peak deserted, rushed toward Demon-Hidden Valley.

  • Saras entered the God-Leaking Essence-Draining Reverse Demon Magic Array and was forced to defend himself against its attacks without access to the valley’s lightning elements.
  • Han Jin explained that the array could drain Saras for only half an hour, so Han Tu opened an underground passage for the group to escape.
  • Han Mu detected Osoe’s hidden soul projection and learned that Osoe had come to help deal with Saras.
  • Han Jin ordered the group to retreat while asking Osoe to hold Saras back, and Osoe agreed to help.
  • Han Shuo burst from the dried mud after months underground and flew to Celestial God Peak, where he found no one and hurried toward Demon-Hidden Valley.

Ch. 869A shift in the balance

Saras’s forces suffered heavy losses in Demon-Hidden Valley, but he ordered the place destroyed after finding it empty. Osoe intervened to protect the valley, and their battle began as Han Shuo and the other Great Monarchs headed toward the area.

  • Han Mu, Han Huo, Lolth, Lomon, and the others withdrew through the underground passage while Saras endured the valley’s arrays.
  • Saras discovered that most of his followers had been killed and ordered the survivors to search the valley, then destroy it when they found no one.

  • Han Tu sensed that Osoe and Saras were fighting, told Gelong that Saras would be occupied, and headed back toward Demon-Hidden Valley with Han Mu, Han Huo, Lolth, and the others.
  • Han Hao and Boro led an attack on Rogg’s subordinates, killed their upper-god leader, and left with their forces for Demon-Hidden Valley ten minutes later.
  • Osoe continued fighting Saras, seeking to prove his strength and gain influence among the monarchs, while factions from nearby regions gathered to watch from a distance.
  • Wind Spirits reported that the valley was strewn with the corpses of Saras’s subordinates, prompting the arriving observers to grow wary of Demon-Hidden Valley.
  • After another day of fierce fighting, Monarch Rogg arrived, and the gathered deities recognized him and moved away from his vicinity.

Ch. 871No one was allowed to leave!

Han Shuo arrived at Demon-Hidden Valley after Osoe and Saras halted their fight, and he stopped the gathered spectators from leaving. He confronted Saras and the other monarchs, leaving them uncertain how to respond.

  • Rogg and Vasias watched as Osoe turned the tide against an exhausted Saras, who had spent much of his Divine Power before the battle.
  • Osoe withdrew rather than risk being attacked by Rogg and Vasias, and Saras agreed to end the fight for the day and ordered his followers back to Celestial God Peak.
  • Rogg refused to help Saras fight Osoe, explaining that he had only promised to help deal with Brian.
  • Han Shuo arrived and declared that no one could leave, then killed more than a dozen fleeing spectators with the Seventeen Flying Swords.
  • Han Shuo sensed the Five Elements Armored Corpses underground and reassured himself that Demon-Hidden Valley remained intact.
  • Saras accused Rogg and Vasias of promising to help kill Han Shuo, while the two monarchs studied Han Shuo's power warily.

  • Han Shuo thanked Osoe for helping defend Demon-Hidden Valley, and the Myriad Demon Cauldron gathered the divine souls of Saras’s fallen followers.
  • Osoe said Saras would lose prestige and offered Han Shuo a share of authority over Deep Valley, which Han Shuo accepted.

  • Han Hao learned from a captured Wind Spirit that Han Shuo had defeated Saras, then ordered his followers to spare the messenger and turned toward Saras’s stores to seize his wealth.

Ch. 874You're not qualified!

After a year of cultivating and strengthening Demon-Hidden Valley, Han Shuo entered Deep Valley and asserted that he would no longer pay its toll. The guards backed down once they recognized him as Brian, whose standing in the Chaos Lands had risen alongside Han Hao’s.

  • Han Shuo tested his perfected Heavenly Demon Indestructible Body, and its counterattack sent Lomon flying.
  • Han Shuo fortified Demon-Hidden Valley as the Five Elements Armored Corpses and other cultivators made progress, while Lolth prepared to advance to the Upper God Late Stage.

  • Han Hao hunted Saras’s scattered subordinates and seized much of Saras’s wealth, while the other Great Monarchs’ factions avoided provoking him.
  • Han Shuo arrived at Deep Valley and told Rogg’s guards he would pay no Black Crystal Coins; Haruli identified him as Brian, and the guards respectfully let him pass.

Ch. 875Sorry, I Don't Really Remember!

Han Shuo entered Deep Valley, rejected Haruli’s belated offer to follow him, and learned that the other monarchs had divided Saras’s shops. He focused on building his Celestial Pivot Pharmacy by refining more than two thousand pills, drawing customers and pharmacists to his shop.

  • Haruli reminded Han Shuo of his earlier offer to follow him, but Han Shuo pretended not to remember and left him behind.
