Isobu poked his head out of the reservoir, his lone eye suddenly widening.
The next second.
A streak of Deep Blue fire shot out from the direction of the Empty District, moving at an astonishing speed. In the blink of an eye, it reached the edge of the Naka River Reservoir.
"Meow-!!!"
Blue flames blazing all over her body, Two-Tails Matatabi crashed into the Naka River Reservoir like a meteor, planting her massive paws straight onto Isobu's shell.
Boom!
Isobu, who had only just surfaced, was forcibly stomped back underwater by Matatabi.
"You stinking turtle! Who said you could come onto my turf!"
"You crazy cat! Still as savage as ever!"
Faced with Matatabi's plunging attack, Isobu refused to back down.
"Who are you calling a cat!"
Matatabi swept her two tails sideways, lashing them at Isobu's head and body with Deep Blue flames trailing behind them.
Isobu did not dodge. He swung all three of his enormous gray tails out at once to meet hers head-on.
Boom-
Flames collided with armor, sending waves and gusts flying in all directions.
The blow sent the surface of the Naka River Reservoir into an uproar, throwing up waves several meters high.
Uchiha Minamoto stood on a boulder at the reservoir's edge, his arms folded across his chest as he watched at leisure.
He did not step in to stop them.
A "warm greeting" between tailed beasts was their own business.
And honestly.
Uchiha Minamoto rather wanted to see what a fight between the Two-Tails and the Three-Tails would look like.
In the middle of the reservoir.
The two behemoths were already locked in an all-out brawl.
Two-Tails Matatabi stood on the water, constantly circling Isobu.
Her two blue tails lashed Isobu's shell like burning whips, each strike leaving a charred
