Hiruzen Sarutobi charged out of the Hokage's office at the head of the group.
An elite Anbu squad hurried after him.
Uchiha Setsuna and Uchiha Hazuki exchanged a glance.
The former spoke first and led the latter after them.
"Lord Third, wait for us!"
Uchiha Setsuna quickly caught up with Hiruzen Sarutobi, still looking as confident as ever.
"The Commander-in-Chief keeps his cat over by the Naka River.
"Those two tailed beast-level chakra signatures must be the Commander-in-Chief's doing. What is there to panic about?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi's steps faltered.
He turned and stared at Uchiha Setsuna's ruddy old face.
After a moment, the Third Hokage silently slowed his pace, but he still did not stop.
"I still need to see for myself."

When Hiruzen Sarutobi, Uchiha Setsuna, Uchiha Hazuki, and the Anbu squad arrived.
The sight ahead froze everyone in place.
The Naka River Reservoir and the land along its edges had now been transformed into a battlefield.
Vast stretches of forest around the reservoir had been uprooted, and enormous claw marks and cracks covered the ground. The entire scene was a wreck.
Matatabi the Two-Tails and Isobu the Three-Tails were still locked in fierce combat.
The giant cat of eerie blue flames clung to the back of the cement-gray giant turtle, her two tails lashing his shell repeatedly with terrifying explosive cracks.
The giant turtle's three enormous gray tails kept sweeping out from beneath the water, each swing sending towering waves crashing into the flaming giant cat.
"Roar!"
"Meow!"
The two tailed beasts roared and grappled, throwing the entire Naka River Reservoir into utter chaos.
Hiruzen Sarutobi stood at the edge of the reservoir, staring at the scene before him, utterly petrified.
