Madara attacked to reclaim Shukaku, and the chapter ended as Minamoto sent a black fire dragon against Madara’s Wood Dragon Technique.

• Madara Uchiha used [Sealing Technique: Absorption Seal] to absorb Minamoto’s [Blaze Release], but the scorching Chakra damaged his Reanimated Body.
• Madara Uchiha removed [Majestic Attire: Susanoo]’s armor to protect Shukaku the One-Tail from the black flames.
• Uchiha Minamoto appeared atop Shukaku and trapped him with [Amber Sealing], severing Madara’s control over the One-Tail.

Uchiha Minamoto used Sun Senjutsu-infused Kekkei Tōta Blaze Release to destroy Madara Uchiha’s Wood Dragon Technique and burn his reanimated body despite the Absorption Seal. Madara then attacked with four Limbo Clones, but their weapons passed through Minamoto, whose ability reminded Madara of a Mangekyō Sharingan Dōjutsu.

• Uchiha Minamoto’s black fire dragon instantly incinerated Madara Uchiha’s Wood Dragon Technique and charged at him.
• Madara Uchiha absorbed the Great Dragon Fire Technique with his Absorption Seal, but its heat evaporated his reanimated body until the attack disappeared and he recovered.

The chapter left Madara newly restored to life as Uchiha Minamoto turned the sunlight over the Land of Wind into a destructive force.

Uchiha Minamoto defeated Madara Uchiha with [Sunlight Shines Everywhere], sending him back to the Pure Land, then explained his [Rinne Sharingan] to Hashirama Senju and Tsunade. He admitted Madara had seemed weak, but realized killing him would not solve the problem while Orochimaru could revive him with the [Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu].

• Hashirama Senju and Tsunade watched Madara Uchiha vanish under [Sunlight Shines Everywhere].
• Uchiha Minamoto appeared before Hashirama Senju and Tsunade, who asked about his unusual eyes.
• Uchiha Minamoto identified his eyes as the [Rinne Sharingan] and explained how they differed from the [Rinnegan].

After Madara Uchiha died to [Sunlight Shines Everywhere], Uchiha Minamoto decided to take his resurrection materials from Orochimaru and revive Madara Uchiha so he could seal him safely, while Hashirama Senju and Tsunade reacted to the events.

Uchiha Minamoto explained that he would deal with Orochimaru in the Land of Swamps and intended to revive Madara so he could seal him away permanently. He and Tsunade then arrived outside the Land of Swamps' capital, where Orochimaru's Manda was fighting Jiraiya's Gamabunta.

• Uchiha Minamoto told Tsunade and Hashirama Senju that he would go to the Land of Swamps to deal with Orochimaru and would revive Madara with [Resurrection of the Dead] if necessary.

Tsunade joined Jiraiya’s fight with Orochimaru, but Orochimaru tried to fake his death and escape underground. Uchiha Minamoto captured him with Magnet Release and appeared before him as the Fifth Hokage.

• Tsunade summoned the Katsuyu Sage and rode her to the battlefield after Uchiha Minamoto told her to have fun.
• Tsunade urged Jiraiya to fight Orochimaru alongside her, while Orochimaru realized Jiraiya had mastered Mount Myōboku’s senjutsu and sought a chance to escape.

• Uchiha Minamoto threatened to spare Orochimaru only if he liked what Orochimaru had to say.
• Tsunade and Jiraiya arrived, and Orochimaru congratulated Tsunade on the resurrection of Hashirama, Tobirama, and Nawaki.
