It was Takeda Hyuga who finally asked:
"Ye Feng, since you knew about the Tenseigan, why didn't you consider taking eyes from the Hyuga Main Family to obtain that tremendous power?"
Ye Feng also knew that unless he explained things clearly, neither man would feel comfortable cooperating, so he said:
"Since we've come this far, there are some things I won't keep from you. The Rinnegan is the final form of the Uchiha's Sharingan. I also have a way to evolve my eyes into the Rinnegan, and I even have a way to enhance its abilities, making it far more powerful than the Tenseigan. Besides, the Tenseigan requires a Pure Byakugan as its foundation, so naturally, I have no need for it!"
Although those words were not particularly pleasant to hear, they did put Takeda Hyuga and Hiashi somewhat at ease. Only if Ye Feng possessed even greater power would it make sense for him to be willing to hand this power over to the Hyuga Clan.
"Then when can you give us this power, Ye Feng?"

Both Takeda Hyuga and Hiashi knew that the Main Family could use the Caged Bird Seal to decide whether members of the Branch Family lived or died.
