Background and History

Previous Life and Transmigration

Ye Feng grew up reading novels and dreaming of immortal cultivation. After hearing about his ancestor, he memorized an inherited cultivation manual and practiced for more than twenty years without producing true qi. Its accompanying martial techniques nevertheless made him stronger than an ordinary person 1.

While rushing to work, he pushed a child out of an approaching car’s path and lost consciousness in the collision. He awakened in Konoha as a four-year-old member of the Uchiha Clan. As a longtime Naruto fan, he recognized the world and knew many of the disasters it would eventually face 1 3.

His poor initial chakra aptitude threatened his hopes of becoming powerful. Remembering his inherited manual, he tried cultivation again and successfully condensed true qi for the first time 3.

Academy Years and Uchiha Politics

Ye Feng initially concealed his strength to avoid attracting Danzō’s attention. His Academy activities nevertheless caught Fugaku’s interest, and the clan offered him supplies, a central residence, and training support. He accepted resources but declined relocation and refused to commit himself unconditionally to either the clan or the Hokage faction 9 13 27.

He told Fugaku that a clan was only one part of a village and warned that attempting to overthrow Konoha without sufficient strength would destroy the Uchiha. Although unwilling to fight the Hokage faction for the clan, he intended to preserve a branch of the family if its situation became hopeless 27.

Root operatives later targeted him. He separated himself from his friends to keep them out of danger, killed a Special Jōnin, and survived the remaining jōnin’s explosive tags and attempted Mind Body Switch 34 35.

During another internal threat, the Second Elder poisoned him through a combination of incense and a sachet. Ye Feng fought toward the compound gate using his Sharingan, true qi, Eight Gates, and Fire Spirit Talismans. Afterward, he recovered at Uchiha Tianchang’s residence and prepared additional talismans for the approaching clan confrontation 74 76.

His abilities and strategic advice eventually became important enough that Tianchang classified everything concerning him as the clan’s highest secret 83.

Team 7 and the Shinobi War

Under Orochimaru’s protection, Ye Feng graduated from the Academy and chose to join a genin team rather than remain exclusively at his teacher’s side. He wanted to undertake missions, see the outside world, and draw concealed enemies into acting. He joined Team 7 under Minato, with Kakashi among his teammates 95 100.

Minato taught him the Flying Thunder God sealing jutsu, supplementing the alternative teleportation method Ye Feng had already developed through divine sense and spatial nodes 99 148.

During the war, his continual absorption of natural energy allowed him to perform repeated teleportations even after Minato’s chakra ran low. His achievements helped establish him as a Konoha hero, while a difficult encounter with Isshiki exposed the limits of his strength and renewed his determination to reach Golden Core 273 330 337.

Moryo, Injury, and the Ancient Past

When Miroku prepared to sacrifice herself to seal Moryo, Ye Feng intervened. He overloaded Sumeru to accelerate the completion of a sealing formation, exhausting his true qi and ocular power and cracking his dantian. His pupils turned grayish-white, but divine sense still allowed him to perceive his surroundings 372 373.

After losing consciousness in the Ryūmyaku, he awakened in Looking Mountain Village, where Xiao Ling and her parents sheltered him. The region’s abundant natural energy helped repair his dantian, while his spiritual power grew stronger than before. His eyes also recovered 394 395 398 399.

He eventually recognized that he was in the world a thousand years earlier. During this period, he faced Isshiki and endured the lightning tribulation associated with his Golden Core breakthrough, aided by Kaguya’s energy beads and the Kusanagi Sword 399 401 405.

Changing the Shinobi World

Ye Feng’s interference substantially altered familiar events. Kakashi joined Team 7 earlier and developed a less abrasive personality; the Uchiha Clan survived; and Naruto and Sasuke no longer followed the same paths of isolation and revenge 100 548 571.

He trained the younger generation while encouraging Naruto to become a leader recognized throughout the Shinobi World. He deliberately directed Naruto toward Gaara, anticipating that their friendship could secure a lasting relationship with Sunagakure 553 555 565 570.

Later, the Heavenly Dao asked him to recover the world source absorbed by the Ten-Tails. Ye Feng accepted, received the power needed to enter Nascent Soul, and was entrusted with protecting the world before the Heavenly Dao’s consciousness disappeared 683.

Interstellar Cultivation and Donghao Star

Beyond the Shinobi World, Ye Feng presented himself as an interstellar adventurer and established ties with Karu Tamel. He discovered that evolving the Divine Realm could accelerate his cultivation, making planetary sources and Ōtsutsuki Law Crystals central to his resource gathering 696 763 841.

His attacks on Ōtsutsuki operations included raids on planets whose Ten-Tails were nearing the completion of their absorption. He adapted his methods when enemies detected him, employing Wood Clones, Space Spirit Talismans, and misleading travel routes 779 780 870.

Saikeer recruited him into the Makarov Family, whose leaders sought to secure his loyalty through resources, discipleship, and marriage. Ye Feng initially declined the Grand Elder’s teaching offer and later secretly left to pursue cultivation opportunities of his own 826 841 867.

On Donghao Star, he used stolen identities to infiltrate Ōtsutsuki facilities, capture targets, and obtain their Great Daos. His dungeon operation yielded major progress toward completing his Five Elements Great Dao, additional control abilities, and contact with powerful prisoners including Wansi and Ren Xiaoyao 915 917 920 937 949.

Final Tribulation and Return to Konoha

After returning to the Makarov Family, Ye Feng accepted extensive cultivation support. Ferid supplied more than three hundred planetary sources along with treasures for strengthening the body, soul, and comprehension. Ye Feng regarded this help as a debt he would repay 966 967.

He entered the Tribulation Transcendence Realm, then developed Reverse Yin-Yang Five Elements power in preparation for confronting the God of Ōtsutsuki. His transformed body and evolved Kusanagi Sword allowed him to contest the enemy’s treasure-artifact spear 981 993 999 1001 1008.

Following a further surge in power, he used time travel to obtain flesh from Wansi, the Strongest Immortal Lord, and the Starfeather Great Emperor. He gathered their dispersed soul fragments and rebuilt their bodies, resurrecting all three. He then returned with his companions to the Shinobi World to visit loved ones as his expected ascent approached 1012 1014.

• Youthful appearance: Still appears to be a very young member of the Humanoid Race during the confrontation with the God of Ōtsutsuki 1006.

Personality

Ye Feng values peace and personal freedom, but his ambition is considerable: he wants to reach the world’s pinnacle and, if possible, improve the Shinobi World along the way. He rejects both reckless clan rebellion and leadership that sacrifices the weak merely to preserve stability 27 95 100.

He is cautious about exposing his abilities and frequently relies on deception. His fabrications include an unverifiable ancient cultivation master and false personal histories, while his combat tactics use feigned weakness, concealed strength, decoys, and impersonation. He also accepts retreat when an enemy’s strength exceeds what he can safely handle 34 96 395 861 927.

His concern for others repeatedly overrides that caution. He draws danger away from friends, risks severe injury to stop Miroku’s sacrifice, and conceals a near-fatal experience from his wives to spare them worry. He is also reciprocal in everyday conduct, answering courtesy with courtesy and remembering material help 34 277 373 626 967.

Despite his strength, he enjoys leisure, teasing, and domestic companionship. He is reluctant to take on teaching obligations, openly admitting that even Shisui receives relatively little direct instruction 378 548.
