Kakashi Hatake looked at his father on the hospital bed with sadness.
When Kakashi Hatake heard that his father had been seriously injured, he immediately rushed to the hospital. Seeing his father wrapped up like a rice dumpling, he could not help shedding tears.
In Kakashi Hatake's eyes, Hatake Sakumo had always been a godlike figure: powerful, wise, and warm. Yet now he lay quietly in a hospital bed, and Kakashi had even been told that his father might never be a ninja again. He found it hard to accept.
While Kakashi Hatake was silently grieving, a squad of masked ninja suddenly burst into the room, startling him out of his thoughts.
However, the squad said nothing. They simply began gathering the equipment beside the bed, seemingly intending to move Hatake Sakumo elsewhere.
Seeing this, Kakashi Hatake asked warily:
"Who are you? What are you doing?"
One of the ninja replied without even looking up:
"We're Anbu ninja carrying out a mission. We're moving Hatake Sakumo somewhere safe."
Hearing this, however, Kakashi Hatake looked doubtful. Something about the people before him felt strange.
Kakashi Hatake hurried forward to stop them, saying:
"I'll take care of my father myself. There's no need to trouble you!"
But the ninja said with some displeasure:
"Sorry, our orders are to move Hatake Sakumo somewhere safe. If you have any questions, you can take them to the Konoha High Command. Now get out of the way."
As he spoke, the ninja reached out to push Kakashi Hatake aside. What they had not expected was that, although Kakashi was currently a Chunin, his strength was already approaching that of a Jonin. Thanks to Ye Feng, his taijutsu was also quite formidable.
