The next day, the sun rose early in the east.
Orochimaru also emerged from his tent and went to the very front of Konoha's camp. He set down a lounge chair he had gotten from who knew where and actually lay down on it.
Two more ninja came up from behind him. One carried a large parasol and set it up beside Orochimaru, while the other brought over a table with drinks and some food on it.
Nothing about this looked like he was at war. He looked exactly like an idler out sightseeing.
Ye Feng also woke early. Since the nerve-racking war would begin today, he did not spend much time meditating and training. He planned to head out early and see what needed preparing.
When Ye Feng reached Orochimaru, the sight immediately stunned him. He pointed at Orochimaru and stammered:
"You... you... you really know how to enjoy yourself! Do you think you're on vacation? Don't you know we're still at war? Think how bad it would look if anyone saw this."
Orochimaru looked utterly unconcerned.
"Let them see. It's not like I have to be Hokage anyway. Better yet, someone should report this to the High Command. Then I'd have a perfectly legitimate reason to ignore all of Konoha's damn affairs. How relaxing would that be?"
Orochimaru thought it was a fine plan, unaware that Tsunade had come up behind him while he was speaking. In particular, she heard him say, "It's not like I have to be Hokage anyway."
That infuriated Tsunade. She strode up and delivered a Heavenly Foot of Pain, smashing the table beside Orochimaru to pieces. The food and drinks on it were completely unharmed, however, because Ye Feng had reacted quickly and gathered them all into his arms.
Tsunade's somewhat angry voice
