Seeing his shadow clones appear, even if Ye Feng had been an idiot, he would have known they must have done something bad at home.
Worse still, Qiuyu Yuna had caught them, infuriating Ye Feng so much that he charged straight at them, wanting to give them a beating.
But before Ye Feng could reach them, all three shadow clones vanished into smoke at once. They had clearly dispelled themselves.
However, Ye Feng had no time to think about anything else, because countless streams of true qi were dispersing around him. That was his lifeblood!
Ye Feng immediately sat cross-legged where the shadow clones had disappeared, entered a state of cultivation, and absorbed the surrounding true qi.
Tsunade and the two women were bewildered by Ye Feng's sudden changes. He had been furious a moment ago, yet now he had gone straight into cultivation. Even Tsunade could not understand his behavior.
Just then, another of Ye Feng's shadow clones came out and helped explain:
"He needs to cultivate now. He probably won't wake up anytime soon. If you have things to do, go ahead. Don't worry about him!"
With that, the shadow clone went back inside.
Tsunade did know that Ye Feng regularly created batches of shadow clones, though she did not know what he used them for.
But Ye Feng had been outside Konoha all this time and could not possibly have had time to come back and create shadow clones. That could only mean these clones had been created before he left Konoha. But could shadow clones last that long?
Tsunade stepped past Ye Feng, opened the door, and walked inside. Sure enough, ten more shadow clones remained in the room.
When they saw Tsunade enter, they all greeted her with ingratiating expressions:
"Hi, long time no see!"
