A long while later, the sky gradually darkened. Although Ye Feng did not want to interrupt Tsunade and the other two, Tsunade really could not stay in the Village of the Gods for too long.
So Ye Feng returned to Nawaki's wooden house.
The moment Tsunade saw Ye Feng, she understood what he meant.
She stood up and said goodbye to Nawaki and Dan Katō.
On their way back, Tsunade suddenly asked:
"Can I come visit them often?"
Ye Feng thought for a moment and said:
"Not right now. There are too many people in the Village of the Gods, and word gets around. Outsiders can't learn about their resurrection yet. I'm sure you know what the consequences could be."
Tsunade's expression dimmed. She had already anticipated this answer, but she had still held out a sliver of hope for Ye Feng.
Seeing her downcast expression, however, Ye Feng changed his tune:
"If you offered me a little something, an occasional visit wouldn't be out of the question."
Tsunade abruptly raised her head to look at him. When she saw his teasing smile, she immediately realized he was toying with her.
Veins bulged on her forehead, and she raised her hand to strike him.
Unfortunately, Ye Feng was faster. He instantly darted dozens of meters away, and his playful voice rang out again:
"Come find me next time you want to see them. I'll give you a good price!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Ye Feng vanished.
As Tsunade watched him disappear, the anger slowly faded from her face, replaced by a grateful smile:
