Ye Feng was feeling relaxed and cheerful. Not only had he dealt with Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, but the "Kāma" on Boruto was also nearly in his grasp. He was only a step away from perfecting all seven attributes.
It put a spring in Ye Feng's step as he hummed a tune and headed toward the Miko's sleeping quarters.
Before he even went inside, Ye Feng heard laughter ringing like silver bells.
Ye Feng walked in with a smile and asked the women inside:
"What are you talking about? You sound so happy."
The women turned at his voice. Seeing the delight on Ye Feng's face, Miroku guessed that everything had gone smoothly, and that he might even have had an unexpected windfall.
Then the Miko walked over, gracefully bowed to Ye Feng, and said sweetly:
"Father!"
Ye Feng froze at her words, then turned to Miroku.
"What's going on here?"
Miroku said with exasperation:
"I'm Shion's mother, so doesn't that make you Shion's father?"
Ye Feng was a little bewildered. They had only come to take a look, not to acknowledge a family relationship.
But since the Miko had already called him that, Ye Feng could hardly fail to respond. He immediately helped her up and said:
"There's no need for that. We've never liked formalities, so we don't have many rules."
With that, Ye Feng waved his hand. A seven-colored light emerged from it, enveloping his entire palm.
The light soon faded, revealing a silver-white necklace in Ye Feng's hand. On closer inspection, a gleam of seven-colored radiance could be seen flashing across it.
Everyone present was captivated by the necklace. The Miko seemed utterly entranced, staring fixedly at the necklace in Ye Feng's hand.
Then Ye Feng's voice roused the entranced Miko:
"Take this necklace as a first-meeting gift.
