Hidan watched the two sides stare at each other without moving. So anxious he could not help himself, he said:
"Ugh, why make it so complicated? Let's just charge in and kill them!"
Ye Feng shot him a glare and barked:
"Don't think your immortality lets you do whatever you please. If the supreme leader here wanted to kill you, you wouldn't stand a chance of surviving. Even I couldn't save you. You'd better stay quiet!"
At Ye Feng's words, Hidan ducked his head and retreated into the group.
An hour later, a figure in noticeably finer clothes approached. He looked somewhat human, but he had six arms and brown skin.
Ye Feng and the others were already used to such creatures. On the planets they had visited before, they had encountered all sorts of incredible beings, including creatures with beast heads and human bodies, which had reminded Ye Feng of beastfolk.
Compared to those, the creature before them was much better. At least he looked somewhat human.
The man first smiled at Ye Feng, then reached out and handed him something.
Ye Feng looked closely. It was a device resembling an earplug, seemingly used for communication.
Sure enough, the man pointed to his own ear, where he wore an identical device.
Seeing this, Ye Feng hesitated no longer. He took the device and put it in his ear.
Sure enough, the next second, when the man opened his mouth to speak again, what Ye Feng heard was the Chinese he knew so well.
The man said:
"Greetings, esteemed ladies and gentlemen. My name is Maine, and I am the steward of the Tamel Family. Please allow me to apologize on behalf of the soldiers for their earlier discourtesy."
With that, Maine actually bowed to Ye Feng and the others.
