Just then, a figure suddenly appeared beside Orochimaru. Before he could make out who it was, his vision blurred again, and Hashirama Senju and the others came into view.
Only then did Orochimaru come to his senses and realize that Ye Feng had rescued him.
Orochimaru was about to thank Ye Feng, but found him deep in thought, as though he had discovered something.
At once, Orochimaru gathered his thoughts and turned his gaze toward the member of the Ōtsutsuki Clan nearby. That brush with death had filled him with rage. Unless he thoroughly vented it on his opponent, he would not be able to get past it.
Sure enough, the next second, that Ōtsutsuki Clan member was blasted away again. Before he could land, however, Orochimaru darted to his side and sent him flying back with another heavy blow.
After this repeated several times, the Ōtsutsuki Clan member finally hit the ground, barely clinging to life. His right eye had already turned white. Clearly, opening that spatial rift had not been so easy either.
Orochimaru looked at the Ōtsutsuki Clan member as though he were already dead, gripped his skull with his right hand, and said coldly:
"In your next life, stay far away when you see me!"
As he spoke, Orochimaru began to squeeze, while the Ōtsutsuki Clan member grabbed his wrist with both hands, seemingly trying to stop him from applying force.
Mere seconds later, the Ōtsutsuki Clan member's skull remained intact, a mark had appeared on Orochimaru's wrist, and Orochimaru had withdrawn his large hand.
The Ōtsutsuki Clan member now looked utterly dumbfounded, seemingly unable to understand why Orochimaru would crush his skull.
To his surprise, Orochimaru gave a cruel smile and said:
"Killing you brings me no benefit. This is what we're after!"
