Within the Little Cang Realm.
Northern Uttarakuru.
Outside the Witch Tribe's rather plain capital.
Boom!
The enormous corpse of a Fierce Beast crashed straight down from high above.
It stirred up a huge cloud of dust, along with startled cries and sounds of joy from the people below.
"It's Yi!"
An exceedingly tiny Crimson Arrow instantly flew out of the Fierce Beast's body, turning into a streak of light that shot toward the sky.
Soon, a burly figure, far smaller than the Fierce Beast, descended from the clouds.
"Yi!"
"Yi!"
The burly figure dropped straight down, but did not land among the crowd. He smiled and waved at them, immediately drawing excited cheers from the people below.
The burly figure glanced down. Quite a few Witch People had already begun dismembering the Fierce Beast. Without lingering, he flew swiftly into the city amid everyone's cheers.
Passing over the many simple houses in the city, he soon reached his destination-a wooden hut slightly larger than the surrounding homes, though not by much.
His steps slowed. Smelling the medicine wafting from the hut and hearing a few suppressed coughs, the joy of returning from his hunt involuntarily vanished, leaving only a trace of heaviness.
Although the life-prolonging medicine he had previously obtained for the Witch Lord had indeed won him another twenty-odd years of life, his allotted lifespan ultimately remained impossible to change.
Just then, however, a slightly weary yet happy voice came from inside the hut:
"Yi? Why aren't you coming in?"
The burly figure hesitated slightly, then strode to the door, pushed it open, and ducked inside.
The interior was simple and spacious. Two elderly, stooped figures sat beside each other.
Without the slightest hesitation, Yi respectfully bowed to them both:
"Yi greets the Witch Lord and the Witch Mother."
