Chonghua saved the Silkworm Dragon Realm and Celestial Lord Chao after Sea-Cutting Cliff collapsed and Buddha Lord Tianshang lost his source of power. As Tianshang absorbed the Three Great Dharma Realms, Chonghua struck him, but Tianshang survived as a solid, one-armed monk.

• Sea-Cutting Cliff collapsed, draining Buddha Lord Tianshang's power and weakening his strike against the Silkworm Dragon Realm.
• Chonghua arrived at the last moment, rescued the battered Silkworm Dragon Realm, and cast it beside the Cloud-Heaven Realm.
• Wang Ba reunited with Yao Wudi, Wang Liu, Yu Wuhen, Bu Chan, and Celestial Lord Chao as the gathered cultivators prepared for Tianshang's final counterattack.
• Buddha Lord Tianshang's Three Great Dharma Realms struck the Ruins of Zhangshi, then flowed into his phantom as he began absorbing them.
• Chonghua exploited the opening and struck Tianshang, destroying the Three Great Dharma Realms but leaving Tianshang alive as a solid, one-armed monk.

Buddha Lord Tianshang reversed the Three Great Dharma Realms and launched a lethal attack on Wang Ba, forcing the cultivators to unite against him. Wang Ba led their resistance through the Zhou Tian One-Qi Great Formation, and Tianshang finally fell beneath the Boundary Sea’s Tribulation Lightning, leaving Wang Ba to declare victory.

• Buddha Lord Tianshang used a Karmic Divine Ability to appear before Wang Ba and strike at him, but Yao Wudi intervened and blocked the attack by drawing on the Little Cang Realm’s origin.
• Man Daoist assembled the cultivators in the Zhou Tian One-Qi Great Formation as Yao Wudi and others attacked Tianshang, who nonetheless pierced the formation and struck Wang Ba; the Immortal Lord Lu He memorial tablet protected Wang Ba from the fatal blow.
• Tianshang manifested as an enormous one-armed Buddha and pressed his palm down on the formation, overwhelming the cultivators until Wang Ba called the remaining fighters into the battle.
• Wang Ba connected with the cultivators through the formation and led it upward against Tianshang’s Buddha Hand, but Tianshang continued to overpower them as the Boundary Sea’s Tribulation Lightning gathered overhead.
• The Tribulation Lightning engulfed Tianshang before he could finish crushing the formation, and he dissipated, leaving his śarīra behind as Wang Ba announced that they had won.

After Buddha Lord Tianshang’s final nirvana, Wang Ba led his followers away from the declining Four Great Realms, but his vow still kept him from attaining Mahayana. On the journey to Extreme Azure Abyss, Bodhisattva Tibo recognized Wang Ba as Immortal Lord, and Wang Ba bowed to Wu Ape King, leaving the others stunned.

• After the battle, Wang Ba realized the primal chaos source substance around the Four Great Realms was running out and decided to take the Little Cang Realm and his followers toward Extreme Azure Abyss.
• Wang Ba parted from Kongchanzi and Shen Fu, returned the True Spirits of the Yin Clan and Laowen Sect cultivators through No Return, and let the Sea of Boundary Turmoil cultivators choose where to settle.
• Wang Ba departed on Fanming with the followers who chose to accompany him, while Sea-Cutting Cliff collapsed and disappeared into the void.
• Wang Ba’s group passed Soulfall Marsh and continued toward Extreme Azure Abyss as the Little Cang Realm slowly recovered and Gan Xiong chose to settle elsewhere.
• Fanming swallowed a humanoid figure formed from Sea-Cutting Cliff fragments, but Bodhisattva Tibo emerged from Fanming’s back and addressed Wang Ba as Immortal Lord.
• Wang Ba bowed to Wu Ape King as the Immortal Lord, stunning the gathered cultivators, and Wu Ape King asked when Wang Ba had discovered him.

Wang Ba confronted the Wu Ape King and learned that Immortal Lord Lu He had possessed Little Monkey, while Tibo and Lu He revealed their hidden contest over the Boundary Sea. As Lu He reclaimed his power and prepared to fight Tibo, the Lord of the Boundary Sea, Taiyuan, arrived to speak.

• Wang Ba asked whether Little Monkey could return, and the Wu Ape King confirmed that he could if the Wu Ape King was absent.
• Wang Ba explained how a string of coincidences had exposed Lu He's identity within the Wu Ape King, while Tibo and Lu He discussed how both had used Wang Ba as a piece in their contest.
• Tibo reclaimed the Six Staffs, and Lu He emerged from the Wu Ape King, absorbed Immortal Blood from cultivators, and recovered his golden double pupils.
• Lu He summoned his Dao Sword, Hidden Emptiness, from the Ruins of Zhangshi, while Wang Ba rescued the weakened cultivators and learned that the two Memorial Tablets contained the missing half of the Third Boundary Sea's origin.
• Lu He and Tibo prepared to fight over the Boundary Sea origin, but Taiyuan, the Lord of the Boundary Sea, appeared and asked them to hear him out.
