After finishing his fiery speech, High Overlord Saurfang walked up to the gong under everyone's gaze and struck the Scarab Gong with the enormous Scepter of the Shifting Sands in his hand.
"Dong!!" The clear note of the gong rang in the ears of every allied soldier. Atop the Scarab Wall, roots formed from concentrated force of nature slowly began to contract, wither, and fall away. Patrick also clearly sensed that every ward over the Ahn'Qiraj Empire, which had been covered by a powerful energy field, vanished with the sound of the gong.
The gates of Ahn'Qiraj City crashed down. The enormous Qiraji warriors inside seemed startled by the gates suddenly opening. A thousand years of confinement had left these massive warriors unaccustomed to the air of freedom.
With pitch-black skin, enormous dog heads, and bodies nearly as tall as the gates of Ahn'Qiraj City, these were the vanguard of the Qiraji Kingdom: the Anubisath. The Twin Emperors' proudest creations, they possessed tremendous strength but little intelligence. They were the Twin Emperors' most loyal guards, and utterly fearless killing machines.
Having spotted the allied forces, the Anubisath cautiously tested the area beside the gates. Once they confirmed that the seals had vanished, the Anubisath and vast numbers of crawlers poured out through the gates of Ahn'Qiraj City.
"Begin the battle!" High Overlord Saurfang shouted as he watched the Qiraji surge toward the allied forces in swarms.
