The Alliance party did not wait long. After only a short while, they felt an immense pressure, and the entire horizon turned crimson. The violent air currents threatened to shift even the ground. As a survivor of Dalaran, Rhonin could not have been more familiar with this power.
"It's the Deceiver." When Archimonde, that master sand sculptor, had descended near Dalaran, his world-destroying presence, looking down upon all things, had been beyond anything a demigod could possess. "This is bad. It's Kil'jaeden the Deceiver."
Only now did Varian realize that their attack on Tempest Keep was like taking his followers to the gates of death to pick a fight and get themselves killed.
"Notify everyone. Suppress your presence, and don't let the troops run around."
Varian now realized that running was already too late. The only choice left to the Alliance commanders was to suppress their presence and keep the demons from noticing them.
"No, this doesn't match the demons' strength. There's another Demon Lord hiding." No one had more experience with demons at close quarters than Rhonin. When the sulfur-cloud storm appeared, Rhonin had clearly sensed a power no weaker than Archimonde's. Yet only Socrethar and Kazzak had appeared in the void, which meant the demons still had something in reserve.
Meanwhile, inside Tempest Keep, an enormous red projection appeared before Kael'thas. With that familiar octopus-like head and red skin, Kil'jaeden's image appeared before him. After receiving Kael'thas's plea for help, Kil'jaeden himself had resolutely come to Outland in his true body, then met Kael'thas through a projection.
"As you can see, Lord Kil'jaeden, the enemy has already reached me. I have nowhere left to turn. You are my last hope, and my subjects in Azeroth are still waiting for you to save them." Kael'thas knelt on one knee.
