The Horde was not to be outdone either. Though the Sky-Reavers were not a heavy aerial force, their light builds and nimble speed made them a prime choice for a mobile air force.
"Children of the Horde, tell the Scourge we have arrived!" King Agmar drew his sword, its blade gleaming coldly. Behind him, the vast force of Sky-Reaver wind riders instantly swooped toward the Frost Wyrms.
"Sindragosa!" Krasus beat his wings and fiercely spewed the fire gathering in his mouth. The Red Dragon's breath hurtled straight toward the Frost Wyrm matriarch.
"Little one, you overestimate yourself." Sindragosa showed no reaction, merely turning to unleash a blast of frost breath straight at Krasus.
But compared to Sindragosa, Krasus was still only a little dragon. Frost gradually engulfed his fiery breath, swallowing it until it dissipated into the air.
Krasus's arrival, however, sharply reduced the pressure on Vashj. Unable to fly, Vashj was at a severe disadvantage against Sindragosa, and Sindragosa had not made Vashj her primary target. Without interference from aerial forces, Sindragosa could slowly wear Vashj down to death.
The pressure in the air was not great, but countless cracks suddenly appeared in the ground. Then came the sounds of collapse, and innumerable Crypt Fiends, spiders, and skeletons burrowed up from below.
"Hiss... more delicious food has arrived. Children, feast." As the ground collapsed, an enormous beetle emerged from underground.
"It's Anub'arak." Patrick had long taken precautions against this Beetle Emperor. The Wrathgate stood on the Scourge's doorstep; there was no reason Anub'arak would ignore it. "Have Naj'entus and the others take their troops to hold our positions. Do everything possible to keep the forces in the rear steady."
Naj'entus glanced at Vashj, who was still locked in battle, then left to carry out the order. At last, this
