Facing mortal enemies with whom they had a blood feud, the Sunfury Legion once again displayed the same spirit they had shown when attacking Magtheridon, fighting fearlessly and charging ahead without regard for death. The rank-and-file soldiers could hardly be blamed, though, because the Order of the Silver Hand was even more aggressive. In particular, the troops who had once belonged to the Scarlet Crusade charged whenever they saw the Scourge, and even Tirion Fordring could not hold them back.
It was precisely this aggression that had allowed the Lich King's carefully prepared army to surround the entire Coalition Forces at the Gates of Terror: Korialstrasz. Had Patrick not asked Elune to help summon Starfall, alongside Tirion Fordring's Grand Judgement and Vashj's Lightning Tornado, it was questionable whether they could have survived that battle.
Over the past few years, Patrick's presence had brought forward a series of events, including the Northern Expedition War and the War of the Nightmare. Even Patrick himself could no longer be certain when the Cataclysm would arrive.
But after living in Azeroth for so long, his original impressions of the Old Gods and NPCs had been overturned. At the very least, the intelligent beings of this world all possessed their own judgment and thoughts, just as Xavius, the Lord of the Nightmare, had pulled the rug out from under everyone while the Coalition Forces were on their Northern Expedition.
