However, as Kul Tiras's resident ambassador, Fenna did more than send the news back to Boralus. He also notified Galin Trollbane. As sworn enemies of the Kirin Tor, Stromgarde would not let the matter rest either.
Jaina and the Kirin Tor had always shown Stromgarde goodwill, but Galin Trollbane hated Jaina to the core, and that hatred extended to the Kirin Tor. Jaina had played no small part in reducing Stromgarde to its current state.
"Kul Tiras only wants to reclaim what once belonged to it. Those were all once Kul Tiran troops, yet they were used to protect Theramore. Together with the Alliance, their actions ran counter to Kul Tiras's interests. Although I don't know what Jaina has given the Alliance and Dalaran, both have always backed Theramore."
Fenna Goldsword grew somewhat agitated as she spoke. Of everything that had happened in Azeroth before, Kul Tiras had indeed been the greatest victim. And its suffering had not come from direct aggression by others, but from being caught in the fallout and harmed by mistake.
"Having Kul Tiras act is the best choice, and Tandred will also need to come in person. Others can hardly interfere in the Proudmoore family's internal affairs. I just wonder whether Tandred can keep those arrogant, battle-hardened officers under Jaina in check. If they refuse to return to Kul Tiras, what will you do?"
"Most of those sailors' families are still in Kul Tiras. Tandred will forgive their transgressions as far as possible and win back these former elite troops of the Kingdom. At the same time, Kul Tiras intends to revoke Theramore's autonomy. It will no longer be Alliance territory."
That sounded fairly good. At least Tandred had made plans of his own rather than getting carried away and making every decision on impulse.
