The matter of the Scourge would not be considered for the time being. Besides, Patrick's efforts to resurrect the Avengers were common knowledge across the continent. Had Deathwing not appeared out of nowhere, their resurrection would probably have been completed long ago.

The other leaders agreed with Illidan as well. Unless they dealt with Deathwing once and for all, the leaders of the Alliance and Horde probably would not even sleep soundly. After all, no one wanted elemental creatures entering their home halfway through the night, or their guards turning into Faceless Ones while they slept.
