Here it comes. Liam and Darius Crowley held their breath. After learning about the entire Arcane Pact through Tirion Fordring, both had become even more eager to join it. Both felt that if Gilneas continued isolating itself like this, the day the next "Wolf Leader" arrived would be the day their kingdom fell.
"We can grant you provisional membership, with authority and duties matching those previously held by the tuskarr." Patrick looked at Tirion Fordring. "How does that sound?"
Of everyone within the Covenant, Lordaeron was probably the most eager to see the Kingdom of Gilneas join. Patrick himself had little interest in Gilneas. Its presence or absence made little difference to him.
Tirion Fordring offered no definite response either. Gilneas had indeed behaved poorly, but Lordaeron now needed Gilneas. At the very least, it needed Gilneas to remain stable, without playing tricks in Lordaeron's rear or falling into the hands of hostile forces.
"If you want more, you must contribute." Patrick looked at Liam and Lord Crowley. "Just like the tuskarr. The contributions Kaskala, Moa'ki, Kamagua, and Indu'le Village made during the war were admirable."
Patrick's words left Elder Atuik and Elder Kunani somewhat embarrassed. In the battle at Wyrmrest Temple, even including the earlier war against the Scourge, the tuskarr had actually contributed little. They had merely handled some logistics, guided the Covenant's rangers as they familiarized themselves with the terrain, and gathered intelligence. Compared with the other races, the number of tuskarr killed in battle was almost negligible.
As for Indu'le Village, because Patrick had stopped the Aspect of the Blue's mad plan, the village, which should have been wiped out entirely, had survived completely intact this time. Indu'le Village had contributed a great deal to the
