The queen's crown was simple and light. The circlet forming its main framework was forged from adamantite, with its edges turned slightly upward and four curved points set with four imperial-grade red crystals, symbolizing Luminass Sunstrider's status as the fourth queen of Quel'Thalas.
The four red crystals were each the size of an egg, brimming with magic, crystal clear, and of impeccable quality. Held up to the sunlight, their red radiance interwove and flared in succession, enough to dazzle the eyes. Gold wire 2.5 millimeters in diameter wound around the outside of the circlet's framework in a three-dimensional structure. A golden rune depicting a phoenix spreading its wings was embedded in the center, surrounded by a ring of platinum arcane runes serving as arcane nodes, while engraved elven patterns formed arcane circuits.
Several three-dimensional arcane sequences lay hidden between the arcane nodes and circuits, including offensive and defensive spells, making it a top-tier piece of magical equipment capable of both attack and defense.
Simple, but far from simplistic; understated, yet rich in substance. Could anything made by high elves be ordinary?
The Kingdom of Quel'Thalas was extravagant by nature, from royalty and nobility down to ordinary citizens. Take the newly built Sunlight Temple on the Isle of Quel'Danas alone: its reliefs were outlined with arcanite thread, decorated with adamantite, and sheathed in khorium. If arcanite, adamantite, and khorium had not been so precious and rare, the Eclipse Burning Legion would have gladly paved the roads with those metals and cast the entire Sunlight Temple from gold.
Of course, Lady Luminass was indifferent by temperament and cared little for material things. She spent most of her time researching arcane magic, so when the archmages of the Magisters' Legion and the Sunfury Legion designed her crown, they made it as simple and
