The secrets of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and the Valley of the Four Winds would soon cease to be secrets. Pandaria's high-yield crops would soon spread throughout Azeroth, and crops that ripened once a day would surely attract countless covetous eyes.
For the Covenant, grain was not a vital core resource. Quel'Thalas had the New Sunwell and the Sunlight Prism; once seeds were sown, they could simply wait for the harvest, unaffected by the seasons. Most of its grain was used for trade and aid. Kul Tiras and Lordaeron received aid, while Stormwind City, Orgrimmar, and others were trading partners.
As for Aerie Peak, Stromgarde, and the Kingdom of the Highborne, their environments were favorable, and their grain shortfalls were small. If it was simply a matter of filling bellies, the Kingdom of Lordaeron was the only member of the entire Covenant that depended entirely on grain from Quel'Thalas.
Patrick believed there would certainly be no shortage of wars in the future. How many more enemies they would encounter once his new plan came to fruition remained unknown. Expanding grain production and increasing Azeroth's overall population were imperative.
For now, Patrick was satisfied with Quel'Thalas's population growth rate. Its population base was simply too small, and rapid population growth would still take time. All he could do was prepare the supporting educational and public facilities first, to prevent a population growing too quickly from becoming a burden rather than a dividend.
Patrick sent out a mental signal. Before long, Illidan, Kael'thas, Alonsus Faol, Lynn Bluestone, Tirion, Maiev, several animal gods, Kurdran, Prince Galin, and Tandred had all arrived within the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
"Everyone, there's something I need to discuss with you." Patrick turned to look at Taran Zhu. "What are your thoughts on the Pandaren joining us?"
