Lu Ren continued carving, but almost every time he made a few strokes, they vanished.
Never mind carving his name—even a few strokes would disappear.

Puzzled, Lu Ren tried again.
As he kept carving and his name kept shattering, his understanding of Dao Shattering grew ever deeper.
Realizing this, Lu Ren's heart trembled, and he began carving with abandon.
Each time he carved his name, it shattered, giving him another measure of insight into the true essence of Dao Shattering.

The drain on his Immortal Soul Power was terrifying, but Lu Ren remained unmoved. His gaze stayed firm, without the slightest hint of retreat.
In a hundred years, Qing Yao would battle the other Ghost Kings. He had to revive Qing Yao before then.
