The void shook. Towering waves swept across the Return-to-Ruins River Site, while terrifying force spread in invisible ripples, striking again and again.
The blade light and chaotic light wore each other away.

Before long, the blade light cleaved the chaotic light apart. Its remaining force struck Lu Ren head-on.
Bang!
Lu Ren flew backward. More cracks spread across his Battle Body, and golden blood sprayed from him.
His aura had weakened to its limit. The Dao Power within him was nearly exhausted.
The Dao-Controlling Peak really is formidable. That was only a casual slash. If his injuries were healed, I wouldn't withstand more than a few strikes!
Lu Ren was secretly alarmed.
Surprise also crossed Mu Aogu's face. "Grand Dao True Intent at the Intent-Transformation Stage is this powerful? I can't use any more Dao Power, or the consequences will be disastrous. But his Battle Body is badly damaged. If I pit my Battle Body against his, I might be able to kill him!"
With that thought, he leaped forward. The twelve Battle Marks on his body blazed as he drove both fists at Lu Ren in a flurry of blows.
Faced with Mu Aogu's fully unleashed Battle Body, Lu Ren did not retreat. He pushed the power of his own Twelve-Pattern Battle Body to its limit.
