Faced with Nawaki's plea, "Tsunade" streamed tears, the pain and struggle in her eyes plain to see.
Everyone around her was moved by the sight. Even Anyo applauded Koyuki's acting skills. She really did have what it took to become a popular actress.
"If you can't, then hurry up and order the Konoha Ninja to retreat. I promise, as long as you pull out of the battle, I'll spare your brother." The frenzied ninja had found a way to save his team and began to calm down.
Tsunade shakily raised her right hand. Everyone's eyes focused on her. As soon as she lowered it, all the fighting would stop, and even her only younger brother could be saved.
"Lower it!"
"Yes, give the order!"
"There's no need to keep fighting. Saving your brother matters more."
Even the spectators in the stands couldn't help calling out such things.
"Sis, no!" Nawaki suddenly shouted. "You'll always be the sister dearest to me. My dream is to become Hokage, but it looks like I won't be able to now. Konoha has put in countless efforts to win this battle. How can we give up because of me alone? I'm going to be a hero of Konoha. I can't let Konoha be disgraced because of me."
With those words, a burning paper seal appeared in Nawaki's hand. At a glance, it was unmistakably an Explosive Tag.
Tsunade paled in horror. "Nawaki, don't!"
Boom...
With a tremendous roar, Nawaki and the burly man were engulfed in a violent explosion. A rain of blood flew through the air, and amid Tsunade's agonized screams, the fighting reached fever pitch.
A long silence settled over the venue. Many spectators began secretly wiping away tears, their hearts even aching for her.
