Deep beneath the Hokage Building, Danzo had gathered every member of Root. He said coldly, "The moment I have been waiting for has finally come. With this, Tsunade's era will end. Until the unrest above dies down, we will lie low underground."
One Root member said, "Shouldn't we go help them? Even if we support Lord Danzo becoming Hokage, it would be meaningless if Konoha and its people were gone."
Danzo replied expressionlessly, "With that person there, he won't let Konoha be destroyed. There will be some casualties, but to me, those are necessary sacrifices."
