A few seconds later, Suigetsu lay paralyzed on the ground, unable to move, with only his mouth still working as he complained furiously, "Didn't we agree to spar with swords? What you just used was clearly Lightning Release."
Anyo chuckled. "I got a little carried away. My fault. How about this? I'll use a sword next round."
With a casual wave, Anyo dispelled the Lightning Release from Suigetsu's body, letting him move again.
Suigetsu grabbed the Kubikiribōchō from the ground, a gleam of triumph flashing in his eyes, and launched a sudden, vicious overhead slash at Anyo.
Anyo's expression remained unchanged as he commented, "Good spirit. You knew to seize the moment when I let my guard down. It seems Orochimaru's assessment had some merit."
A sharp blade slipped from his sleeve, and his Lightning Swordsmanship erupted in an instant. Its tremendous penetrating power combined with the blade to concentrate all its force at a single point, producing an explosive power comparable to the Third Raikage's One-Finger Nukite.
Clang.
Metal rang against metal. The Kubikiribōchō snapped straight through the middle, but the blade's momentum did not falter. It flew from Anyo's hand and drove hard into Suigetsu's chest, its tremendous forward momentum carrying Suigetsu all the way into the Training Ground Edge Wall before stopping.
Restrained by Lightning Release, Suigetsu once again lost the ability to move. Water splashed across his entire body, and he could not suppress the fear in his eyes. Even without using his Sharingan, this man was terrifyingly strong.
Anyo took a single step and appeared in front of Suigetsu the next instant, asking with interest, "That was swordsmanship this time, wasn't it?"
Suigetsu wanted to cry but had no tears. "It's just sparring. Do you have to take it this seriously?"
