Mabui came forward and asked with concern, "What's wrong?"
"I probably rode the motorcycle too fast and got sand in my eyes."
"I told you not to ride so fast. Move your hands. Let me blow it out."
Mabui leaned closer.
A smile of triumph appeared at the corner of Anyo's mouth, just as Mabui puffed out her cheeks and prepared to lean in.
A pair of red lips reached her first, kissing her gently, as lightly as a dragonfly touching water. The kiss was full of tenderness, lingering delicately over her lips. Everything around them fell silent, as though time had stopped, as he savored her softness.
Mabui froze, too nervous to breathe. Her head spun. What happened?
Only when Anyo grew unsatisfied with a light kiss, moving freely up and down and from side to side as he prepared to explore deeper, did Mabui finally react. Her face flushed scarlet and her eyes darted away as she pushed Anyo aside, climbed onto the little motorcycle, and rode off without looking back.
But Anyo had no intention of letting her go yet. With a turn, he appeared behind her again.
"Get off." Mabui was like a startled rabbit, her voice full of panic.
Anyo said leisurely, "Let me ask you something. Once you answer, I'll leave right away."
"All right, hurry up and ask." Mabui could only feel her heart pounding.
"Are you planning to keep being my secretary from now on? Have you ever thought about doing something else?"
Mabui answered without hesitation, "Something else? I've never thought about it."
Anyo said with some amusement, "Then why are you running? Since you plan to be my secretary for the rest of your life, you're mine. Your heart is already with me. Where else do you want to go?"
