Who could know what it felt like to have a needle stuck into them, only for the nurse to stir it around before even pulling it out?
The patient immediately felt utterly awful.
Sitting on the stool, he clamped one hand tightly around his own thigh.
He left his other hand at Shinobu Kocho's mercy.
Only when he could no longer bear it did he gently give Shinobu Kocho a reminder.
"Oh! Sorry about that. Aoi, come take this patient away and bandage him up."
Aoi Kanzaki, who had just finished finding the bedsheets in the back, heard Shinobu Kocho's instructions.
She immediately came over and led the patient away.
And so, this patient earned himself the deluxe bandaging package.
Somewhat distracted, Shinobu Kocho said, "Next."
The patients waiting behind him immediately exchanged glances, before a young man stepped forward.
He had seen what had happened to the previous patient, too.
Although he trusted Shinobu Kocho's skills, he still could not help saying, "Lady Butterfly, please keep your hands steady."
Shinobu Kocho nodded. "Don't worry. I've spent half my life in this line of work. There definitely won't be a problem."
The young man sighed in relief at that. "That's good. I can accept minor issues."
With that, he resolutely held out his hand, looking ready to sacrifice himself for a righteous cause.
Shinobu Kocho began treating him.
As luck would have it, this patient needed an injection too.
So she called Aoi Kanzaki over to prepare some equipment for her.
Meanwhile, Su Chen was seeing patients at rocket speed.
Because the Butterfly Mansion was chronically understaffed, of the four major departments Su Chen had created, only the simplest one, Surgery, was currently open.
The Demon Slayer Corps fought outside year-round, so members with superficial injuries were the most numerous.
