Tengen Uzui realized Su Chen had used a Blood Demon Art but chose to leave with Hinatsuru and the others to recover. Doma learned that Hantengu, Gyutaro, and Daki had died and that Su Chen had escaped, then killed the lesser demon who repeated Su Chen’s insult.

Tengen Uzui visited with his wives, teased Su Chen about his feelings for Kocho, and prepared a mysterious “secret weapon” to help their relationship before Su Chen returned.

After inhaling the ice crystals, Su Chen began repairing his lungs and holding his breath, while Doma noticed the disturbance and realized someone was nearby.

• Su Chen paid the driver to leave him near the Entertainment District so he could continue on foot.
• Su Chen used Clairaudience and Dragon Breathing as he headed toward the forest, while Doma waited nearby for his prey.
• Su Chen entered the woods and recognized Doma’s Blood Demon Art after the icy mist harmed his lungs and disrupted his Transparent World.

Doma tracked down Su Chen and froze him in place with his Blood Demon Art, leaving him unconscious inside an ice sculpture. Believing Su Chen’s expression showed disdain, Doma shattered the sculpture in anger.

• Doma created ice-crystal clones to search for Su Chen while Su Chen headed toward the train station to escape the forest.
• Two Doma clones ambushed Su Chen from opposite directions, and a third used White Princess of Frigid Ferocity to freeze him before he could attack.
• Doma found Su Chen trapped in an ice sculpture and proposed turning him into a demon so they could be friends.

Su Chen escaped Doma aboard a train by using a Dragon Shadow Clone, but the clone’s death left him injured and revealed Doma’s overwhelming strength. Meanwhile, Shinobu Kocho and Shinazugawa arrived in the Entertainment District to search for Su Chen, unaware that he had already left.

• Doma mistook Su Chen’s frozen clone for the real Su Chen and celebrated after concluding that Su Chen was a demon like him.
• Aboard the train, Su Chen recovered the clone’s memories and learned that Doma had stayed behind, confessing his love to the ice sculpture.
