Su Chen trained Kanao and forged specialized alloy Nichirin Blades for her, Shinobu, himself, and others while Kaigaku and Luo Chuan exposed his location. The arc ended with Muichiro Tokito confronting Kokushibo in the Swordsmith Village.

• Su Chen helped Kanao refine Flower Breathing, and she created Futility Peony before promising to grow stronger and protect him and her master.
• Su Chen treated Corps members at the Butterfly Mansion as Shinobu grew jealous, then traveled with her and Kanao to the Swordsmith Village to forge blades.
• Su Chen forged several Nichirin Blades, gave Tanjiro a blade that did not suit him, and used his Forging State to create tailored weapons for Shinobu and Kanao.
• Kanao’s heavy blade let her unleash Sword Qi, while Shinobu’s lightweight poisoned blade doubled her speed and impressed Kanamori with its alloy and poison channels.
• Su Chen demonstrated that his own Nichirin Blade could retain elemental forces by releasing lightning, then accepted Shinobu’s invitation to the hot springs with Kanao.
• Kaigaku reported Su Chen’s whereabouts to Luo Chuan, while Kokushibo used the Shadow Demon and Nakime to pursue the information.
• Su Chen mastered Water Breathing and Sun Breathing in his Memory Palace, linked the Sun Breathing forms into the Thirteenth Form, and sensed someone nearby.
• Kanamori agreed to forge Muichiro Tokito an alloy blade, but Tokito encountered a demon near the hot springs and faced Kokushibo after nearly killing it.

After Kokushibo attacked the Swordsmith Village, Su Chen fought him, helped restore Kagaya Ubuyashiki, and confronted the consequences of Kaigaku’s betrayal. He learned Thunder Breathing from Jigoro and left Zenitsu prepared to face his former senior disciple.

• Kokushibo revealed his ancestry to Tokito and offered to turn him into a demon, while Su Chen fought Kokushibo and forced him to retreat with Sun Breathing.
• Kaigaku stole Kokushibo’s blade, was turned into a demon, and attacked Kotetsu before Mitsuri drove him off, and Tokito later collapsed from his injuries and poisoning.
• At an urgent Hashira Meeting, Lady Amane reported that Kaigaku had become a demon and that Luo Chuan might have exposed the Swordsmith Village.
• Su Chen treated Kagaya Ubuyashiki by channeling Fighting Spirit through his body, awakening Kagaya’s Demon Slayer Mark and restoring his ability to move.
• Su Chen learned that Tokito remained unconscious, then brought Zenitsu to Jigoro after warning him that Kaigaku’s transformation could drive their master to seppuku.
• Jigoro tried to kill himself over Kaigaku’s betrayal, but Su Chen stopped him and persuaded him to remain alive and take responsibility for dealing with Kaigaku.
• Jigoro demonstrated Thunder Breathing’s forms to Su Chen, who quickly learned them and developed Chidori Stream from the Third Form.
• Su Chen and Zenitsu persuaded Jigoro to stay behind, and Zenitsu vowed to face Kaigaku before he and Su Chen parted at the foot of the Corps’ mountain.
