Facing Lynn's pointed ridicule, not even a trace of embarrassment or guilt flashed across Old Minister's face.
"You misunderstood, Mr. Lynn."
Old Minister not only did not flinch, but took half a step forward. Those eyes filled with vicissitudes of life were filled with sincere tears.
"I brought these reporters here not to coerce you with public opinion. Wizarding World has been closed for centuries, and Wizardss are filled with blind arrogance. I brought them here to let them witness with their own eyes how, in order to survive, Wizarding World put down their ridiculous pride and bowed their heads to the truly powerful and strong for help."
He pointed at the red-eyed reporters behind him, his voice choked with sobs:
"They are not here to force you to have a baby, they are here to record the history of Wizarding World's reformation. We need you, Mr. Lynn, we need you. As long as you nod, the entire North America Auror is willing to go through fire and water for you!"
These words, paired with his tragic and solemn tone, were so watertight that even the reporters behind him were moved to tears, and the camera shutters in their hands were pressed as intensively as a heavy rainstorm.
However, Lynn, who was standing inside Iron Gate, still just watched his performance quietly.
"Through fire and water?"
Lynn shook the tea cup in his hand and looked at the clear Black Tea ripples on the cup wall with a cold tone:
"Your Excellency Minister, although our family is small, we are not unable to figure out this account."
Lynn raised his eyelids, his gaze scraping across Old Minister's face like a knife,
"Vought There are ten thousand Mutant Soldiers who are armed to the teeth, and three hundred of your Ministry of Magic's most elite Auror were slaughtered in a single encounter last night. Now you come to me to talk about an alliance?"
Lynn chuckled and ruthlessly tore apart Old Minister's Diadem's grand disguise:
"You don't call this an alliance, you call us gunmen. Why, do you want John to rip off Edgar's head for you to cover up some of your shady messes? As for you Auror, let alone go through fire and water and go to the battlefield, what else can they do besides being a living target for the Mutant Army?"
This sentence is so serious that it is like tearing off the last fig leaf of North American Wizarding World and throwing it to the ground to trample on.
The faces of the reporters behind them instantly turned pale, and the two cronies shrouded in the Boys suddenly tightened their grip on the Wand hidden in their sleeves.
But Old Minister immediately turned around and stopped his men's impulse with extremely stern eyes.
He turned his head and looked again at the young man inside Iron Gate who was holding Black Tea.
Old Minister was thinking quickly in his mind.
He found that the rhetoric he usually used to deal with politicians and the people, the kind of righteous moral kidnapping, had no effect at all in front of this Muggle named Lynn.
The other party's eyes were too dark and deep, as if they could see through all the filth and calculations under his skin at a glance.
Since neither words nor benefits can move this hard-hearted guy, we can only use the most extreme method.
Old Minister took a deep breath.
Under the gaze of all reporters, cronies, and everyone in the Manor, this old man, who had held the highest power in North American Wizarding World and had been aloof all his life, suddenly felt weak at the knees.
Plop.
A dull sound of knees hitting the ground suddenly sounded in front of the Manor door.
Old Minister actually knelt directly on the cold Stone-paved Road!
"Your Excellency Minister!"
"Merlin! What are you doing?!"
The reporters behind him screamed in disbelief and horror.
Several young Wizards rushed forward and tried to help this great leader up from the ground.
"Everyone, get out of here!"
Old Minister waved his hand suddenly and used all his strength to push away the men who were trying to help him.
He knelt outside Iron Gate and raised his head. His wrinkled face was filled with tears, letting the muddy tears drip down his white beard and onto the cold ground.
"Mr. Lynn, please forgive me, an old man!"
Old Minister clutched the railing of Iron Gate with both hands, his voice was shrill and desperate, and he played the role of a tragic hero who endured humiliation and burden for the sake of the overall situation to the extreme.
"You can look down on me and us Wizarding World! But those newly born magical creatures, those innocent children who are still studying in school, they are innocent!"
"Vought International's butcher knife has been placed on our necks! If we lose, the entire Supernatural World future will become a test subject for capital! I am not kneeling here for myself, I am begging you for mercy for thousands of innocent lives!"
The flashlights almost merged into a dazzling day at this moment.
The reporters cried bitterly while frantically recording this tragic scene that could be recorded in the history of Wizarding World.
North America The supreme leader, in order to save his compatriots, gave up all dignity and knelt in front of a Muggle Manor door.
This kind of moral kidnapping, if it were any Superheroes who cared a little bit about his reputation, he would have been forced to nod in agreement at this moment.
"Good guy, this old man is a ruthless person! In order to silence Edgar, he even gave up his knees."
Buddy complained crazily in his heart, "This acting, if I were Lynn, I would give him a gold medal."
In mid-air, John looked at Old Minister kneeling on the ground, a trace of disgust flashed in Azure's eyes.
"Disgusting."
John made no secret of his disdain. This weak posture of kneeling down to win sympathy is simply more disgusting than the rats in the sewer.
He turned to look at Lynn: "Do you want me to burn all these guys who are crying here?"
Lynn shook his head.
He stood inside the gate and looked at Old Minister who was holding on to Iron Gate and crying.
Faced with this sadness that could make anyone break their guard, Lynn knelt down without even moving an eyebrow.
He slowly drank the last sip of Black Tea in the cup.
"This piece of Stone-paved Road was made by me just last month. It is very hard. If you kneel for a long time, you will easily get rheumatism."
Lynn casually handed the empty teacup to John next to him, with no mockery or anger in his tone:
"Your Excellency, Minister, if you feel that kneeling here will make you feel less guilty, or make you look greater in tomorrow's newspaper, then you can kneel down as you like. Our property is very spacious. But I still say the same thing..."
Lynn turned around, not even bothering to look at the old actor kneeling on the ground, and walked towards the villa:
"Stop your kidnapping tricks and want to use Long Island Estate as a gunman. Your knees are not strong enough."
