After Alexander finally woke up, he left a parting threat and fled in a panic.
"Just you wait, Rudeus!"
"I'll definitely be back!"
Rudeus scratched his head, watching the retreating figure in bewilderment.
"What the heck? Did he have to run that fast?"
Evening came, and Rudeus returned to the inn, ready for a good night's sleep. He hadn't slept well these past few days because of Alexander.
But as soon as he got back, he sensed a familiar gaze. A pair of blue eyes was staring at him from the lobby.
"Yo, long time no see!"

At the familiar voice, Rudeus froze in place and blinked, making sure he wasn't hallucinating.
"You're back already!"
Seeing Radeus, who had disappeared for several days, Rudeus broke into a smile.
"Mahoraga's Dharma Wheel spun too fast, so I finished ahead of schedule."
Radeus handed Rudeus a glass of oolong tea. Rudeus had yet to register the question of why another world had oolong tea.
