"The winner is I, Orsted! That still hasn't changed!"
The lingering light of the shattered barrier had yet to fade, and the ground between them had long since been battered full of craters.
Orsted still held his arms spread wide as he watched Radeus, whom he had sent flying, his style gradually turning into something out of JOJO.
Radeus dissipated the force in midair, landed steadily, and stood opposite Orsted again before asking him a question.
"You adapted to my domain?"
Faced with Radeus's question, Orsted did not keep him guessing and honestly explained.
"I haven't adapted to your Unlimited Void. You were right. Your Unlimited Void pours vast amounts of information into other people's brains. If they can't process it in time, it really does leave them unable to move."
"It's just that I'm rather special. Countless cycles have given me some resistance to that information."
"But only a little. I only had about ten seconds to move. If you'd hesitated a little longer, I would have been utterly defeated!"
"Cycles?"
Hearing the word "cycles," Radeus was somewhat bewildered.
What exactly was he talking about? What cycles?
"It doesn't matter if I tell you. I have a special blessing on me. No, calling it a curse would be more fitting!"
"Simply put, if I go two hundred years without accomplishing a certain objective, it triggers Time Regression, returning me to two hundred years earlier, over and over again."
At this point, Orsted's gaze grew distant, as though he were recalling the past, but he soon recovered.
The endless cycles had long since numbed his heart. He was merely a weak man burdened with an impossible mission, starting over again and again!
"Time Regression?!"
Radeus's eyes widened at this revelation.
Holy freaking crap!
