When Ren Wuyang and Gu Zijin came downstairs, they ran straight into Crown Prince, who was running back in through the door.

Hearing Crown Prince bark, Zhou Zhichu poked his head out of the kitchen, holding some freshly boiled chicken breast. "Crown Prince, are you hungry?"
While preparing the meat, he had made lunch for Crown Prince too. He hadn't seen Crown Prince when he came downstairs and had thought he was still asleep, but Auntie had told him Crown Prince was playing in the yard.
Now that he heard Crown Prince barking, he assumed he had come inside looking for food because he was hungry. Zhou Zhichu tore up the meat and put it into Crown Prince's own food bowl, then carried it out.
"Oh, you've been up for a while, huh?" Ren Wuyang sat on the couch, with Crown Prince standing in front of him, playing with him.
