"Li Shu, help keep an eye on the lighting!"
"Is everyone from the Dynamic Club here? Ten minutes left. If they aren't all here, move them after the comedy sketch."
"Why is the music so quiet? Didn't they say there were no problems during the sound check?"
"..."
Several five-star clubs were putting on a joint performance tonight. Cheng Zhen was in charge of the logistics department's preparations before the show, and since an upperclassman had suddenly gotten a stomachache and couldn't make it, Li Shu had come to help.
He called it helping, but there wasn't really much to do beyond running a few errands.
A little sweet talk made things much easier.
When the performance finally began, Li Shu asked Cheng Zhen if he wanted to go out and feed the stray kittens. The two hit it off and sneaked out, stopping by the cafeteria to buy two grilled sausages on the way.
"Where's the Crown Prince?" Cheng Zhen squatted beside Li Shu, watching him play with the kitten. "It's Saturday night. Never mind not getting a room together, you're not even seeing each other?"
While Li Shu was distracted, the kitten snatched the last bite of sausage.
He pointed at himself in shock. "Who's getting a room? Me? You mean me?"
Cheng Zhen sounded thoroughly worldly. "No need to be embarrassed. Everyone's pretty open-minded these days. Just make sure you use protection. Whatever happens, all I ask is that you keep me informed. Beyond that, I can go against my conscience and take your side."
Li Shu: "..."
Wait, what was that whole string of gibberish that had just gone by?
"Zhen, do you know how bizarre that sounds?" Li Shu pressed the kitten's wet nose. "Pei Song'an took Zhaocai to get vaccinated. He'll come over later."
