Cooperation was feasible, but Butcher's hatred for Homelander would never diminish. With Becca tying him down now, Butcher would probably rein in his murderous intent for the time being, holding back without acting.
Once circumstances changed, he would still do everything he could to eliminate Homelander.
"Find some time to see Butcher. Have a proper talk and reach an understanding. That's all you need to do."
Solomon took the opportunity to change the subject and began arranging another matter.
"Also, come with me to Godolkin University the day after tomorrow. We'll fill the vacant seats in The Seven."
"Godolkin University?"
Homelander's gaze sharpened. That was the place with the highest concentration of Supes. Between its students and faculty, there were nearly three hundred Supes on campus!
If Solomon harvested and copied all three hundred people's abilities, how terrifying would his strength become?
It was impossible to imagine!
He could not help feeling intense envy. If he possessed a talent like that himself, why would he ever need to worry about anyone being stronger than him?
"Understood."
Homelander suppressed his emotions and hurriedly asked,
"How will we decide who gets selected?"
Solomon waved a hand dismissively and said with casual indifference,
"Decide for yourself. You're the captain of The Seven, so you can pick the members. It doesn't matter if you don't want to pick anyone, either. My only requirement is that you gather every student and faculty member on campus."
At those words, Homelander's anxious heart finally settled, and a flash of delight crossed his eyes.
He had originally thought Solomon would personally finalize The Seven's roster, leaving him to watch passively with no say in the matter.
He had never expected Solomon to give him complete authority over the selection!
"Good! I'll have Ashley start making preparations right away!"
