Outwardly, Raven had not changed at all.
Her figure, skin color, the texture of her scales, and even her outward aura were exactly as they had been before the experiment, showing no trace of any transformation from genetic enhancement.
After she rested a little longer and her breathing steadied somewhat, several researchers immediately stepped forward, released her restraints, and used precision instruments to check her physical readings one by one.
Time ticked by. The researchers repeatedly compared the data and checked the records, their expressions growing increasingly grave.
Finally, the researcher responsible for the examination stared fixedly at the data on the screen, his face filled with confusion and helplessness, and let out a heavy sigh.
"The experiment failed! None of the subject's physical readings or base attributes have improved. They're exactly the same as before the procedure!"
