Solomon ignored everyone's shock and turned to Tony beside him, a teasing smile curling his lips.
"Stark, well? Do you admit defeat this time?"
At his words, Tony opened his iron faceplate with a click, revealing a face full of concession, and spread his hands with a helpless smile.
"I admit it! Against abilities like yours, I'm thoroughly convinced!"
"From today on, this building is yours. But boss, before you officially take over, could I trouble you to close that scary portal in the sky? Having that thing spinning overhead all the time is honestly a little unnerving."
Solomon smiled easily.
"A trifle. No problem."
With that, Solomon turned around, his gaze settling on the device in the center of the platform, which was still spewing a deep blue pillar of light.
Under the Avengers' curious, awed gazes, Solomon walked up to the device and reached out his right hand.
Rule power coated the surface of his palm as he faced the raging spatial energy shield that had previously deflected even Tony's repulsor blast.
As though dipping into still water, Solomon's hand easily passed into the energy core without any resistance and seized the Tesseract inside!
With a slight curl of his fingers, Solomon effortlessly lifted the Tesseract straight out of the device's slot.
The enormous spatial black hole covering all of New York City overhead instantly lost its energy supply. Within seconds, it rapidly collapsed inward and closed, revealing the clear blue sky once more!
Looking at the cube quietly emitting a faint blue glow in his palm, Solomon's eyes flashed with a smile.
Following the Mind Stone, he had officially secured his second Infinity Stone-the Space Stone!
Under the astonished gazes of the Avengers, Solomon exerted a little force with his right hand around the Tesseract.
