"Of course not. I came to discuss a deal with you."

At those words, Morgana raised her eyebrows slightly, an intrigued gleam entering her eyes.

"Oh? Then tell me, what kind of deal was worth sneaking behind the angels' backs to discuss with your queen?"

Qin Feng did not rush to answer. He merely drifted slowly down to the ground.

Then he raised a hand and snapped his fingers.

The shadows beneath his feet churned in response, and a lean, formidable Shadowkhan emerged, holding a suit of Dark Alloy Armor in both hands.

The instant Morgana saw the armor, her eyes lit up.

She stepped forward twice and ran a hand over the surface of the Dark Alloy Armor. As her fingertips traced its intricate energy patterns, an expression of having stumbled upon treasure appeared on her face.

"Now this is good stuff."

She murmured the words, then tapped the shoulder plate, feeling the energy resonance returned by the material.

"The craftsmanship is impressive. At the very least, this is something only a god-making civilization could produce. If I equipped every one of my Demon Warriors with a suit, we wouldn't have to fear those little bitches."

"Well? Satisfied with it?"

"Satisfied, yes."

Morgana drew her gaze away from the armor and settled it on Qin Feng's face.

"But isn't one suit a little too little? If you're bringing one out to whet my appetite, you must have more, right?"

Qin Feng smiled, making no attempt to hide anything. "I have ten suits, and I can give you all of them. But you might not have what I want right now."

Morgana, who had been basking in the joy of soon acquiring ten suits of Dark Alloy Armor, immediately bristled at those words.

She folded her arms and lifted her chin slightly, her tone carrying the wounded pride of someone whose abilities had been questioned.

"Ridiculous! What could your queen possibly not have? Go on, tell me what you want!"

Qin Feng chuckled, a trace of all-seeing understanding in his eyes.

"All right, then. I'm not asking for much. Just give me eighty or a hundred vials of Gene Serum."

"Gene Serum? Eighty or a hundred vials, at that?"

Morgana's voice rose half a pitch, her expression looking as though someone had slapped her across the face.

"Do you think your queen runs a charity? You'd be lucky to get five or six vials for that armor!"

"Five or six? That works too."

Qin Feng extended his hand, palm up, and smiled at her. "Hand them over. Let's make the exchange right now."

Morgana opened her mouth, then closed it again.

She stared at Qin Feng's outstretched palm, a barely perceptible trace of embarrassment flickering through her dark purple eyes.

As the poorest god in the Known Universe, she had already squandered nearly all her resources in the last holy war against the angels.

Her current stockpile was pitifully small. What little remained had to be carefully rationed to strengthen the Demon Legion. Where would she find spare Gene Serum to trade with Qin Feng?

Seeing that she still made no move, Qin Feng's smile deepened.

"What, the mighty Queen of Demons can't even come up with this much?"

The corners of Morgana's mouth twitched twice.

Then she suddenly stepped forward and seized Qin Feng's hand where it hung in the air, her tone taking on the affection of an older sister toward a younger brother.

"Hey, look at you, getting impatient again! Did your queen ever say she had no resources? It's just..."

She blinked. "Your queen thinks we're all family. There's no need to draw such clear lines between us, don't you agree?"

"Heh, family?"

Qin Feng lowered his head to look at her hand holding his, then raised his eyes to her alluringly smiling face. His lips slowly curved into a meaningful smile.

"Sure. Have a child with me first. Then, never mind these ten suits of Dark Alloy Armor, I could even get you Karl's Great Clock!"

"Whoa!!!"

Morgana released his hand as though shocked and abruptly stepped back, crossing her arms protectively in front of her chest. The ingratiating smile on her face instantly turned to shock and anger.

"I treated you like a brother, but you wanted to sleep with me?"

"How dare you! You dare speak so disrespectfully to the queen!"

Ato, who had been standing silently nearby, surged with fury in his dark red eyes at the sight and moved to step forward.

At that moment, Tara silently appeared across his path, his burly, dark red body blocking his way like a moving wall of iron.

"When the king is conducting his affairs, who are you to interrupt?"

Tara's voice was neither loud nor soft. His golden slit pupils looked down at Ato with unquestionable authority.

"Stand down."

As his words fell, an invisible wave abruptly spread from his body. The impact forced Ato to cross his arms in front of himself, and he slid several meters backward before barely managing to steady himself.

"Holy shit! A fourth-generation divine body?!!"

Morgana's startled cry erupted from the side.

A moment earlier, she had still been caught up in the embarrassment and anger of being teased. Now she jumped, her eyes fixed firmly on Tara.

After all, her own fourth-generation divine body had only been achieved through Karl pouring countless precious resources into it.

Otherwise, she probably could not have come anywhere near a fourth-generation divine body on her own.

Yet now, a warrior under Qin Feng had actually reached that level too?

She turned toward Qin Feng, some of the flippancy fading from her gaze as she appraised him more seriously.

"I couldn't tell at all. You were actually willing to outfit a subordinate with a fourth-generation divine body? Looks like you were pretty considerate of your queen when we fought this morning!"

Qin Feng very much wanted to tell her she was overthinking it, but seeing her self-flattering expression, he merely raised his eyebrows without arguing. "Of course. Since I'm so considerate, shouldn't you hurry up and reward me with eighty or a hundred vials of Gene Serum?"

The corners of Morgana's mouth twitched, and she almost lost control of her expression.

"You have the resources to upgrade a subordinate to a fourth-generation divine body, and you still need this little bit of Gene Serum from me? Do you have to be this stingy?"

"Those are separate matters."

Qin Feng spread his hands, smiling innocently.

His impervious attitude irritated Morgana into rolling her eyes. Folding her arms, she turned her head away and said sullenly, "I have no resources to give you, and I'm not giving you myself either."

Qin Feng could not help laughing at her shameless display.

"What are you laughing at?"

Morgana turned back to look at him, raising her eyebrows slightly.

Qin Feng shook his head, his smile undiminished. "I'm laughing because you're sitting on a mountain of treasure without even knowing it."

"A mountain of treasure?"

Morgana frowned, a trace of confusion flickering through her dark purple eyes. "Where would your queen have anything like that? If I did, I'd have traded it for your ten suits of Dark Alloy Armor already. Do you think I don't want to give the Demon Legion new gear?"

Looking at her bewildered expression, Qin Feng slowly reminded her, "I know you don't have many resources, but a certain someone does."

Morgana blinked. It took two seconds before realization suddenly struck her.
