Personality

Tara is fiercely loyal to Qin Feng and treats disrespect toward him as a personal and military affront. He confronts Yan over her casual manner, blocks Ato from interrupting Qin Feng, and regards Sun Wukong’s provocations as grounds for killing him. Nevertheless, he immediately obeys when Qin Feng orders him to abandon pursuit 8 39 41. His loyalty, like that of the entire Shadowkhan Army, is guaranteed by Qin Feng’s system 14.

He is a demanding commander who expects both competence and obedience. He reprimands Mingta for concealing loot, threatens to punish Samo if research preparations are wasted, and initially criticizes Ika for failing to defeat Sun Wukong. His own deference to Qin Feng is equally strict: he reminds Ika that the king’s decisions are not theirs to change 6 13 38.

Tara is ruthless toward enemies but can be courteous to recognized guests and members of Qin Feng’s household. He orders the Insect Mother captured alive while authorizing the killing of the remaining enemy forces, yet respectfully escorts the angels and addresses Zhi Xin as the king’s consort 67 70 71.

Background / History

Arrival and the Deno Knowledge Raid

Tara first appears in Juxia City after Qin Feng receives command of the Shadowkhan Army through his system. He stops Huang San from threatening Qin Feng, kneels to acknowledge his king, and punches Liu Chuang away on command 1.

He subsequently accompanies Qin Feng into the Giant Gorge command center. There, he forcibly reads Du Kao’s memories and obtains the authorization key needed to transfer the Deno Civilization’s knowledge base to Qin Feng’s Great Clock. Du Kao is left mentally incapacitated after the intrusion 3 4.

Establishing the Research Base

During the operation against Sumari, Tara summons Mingta and later reprimands him for hiding the captured Dark Silver dagger. Qin Feng awards the weapon to Tara, strengthening his capabilities as a bodyguard 5 6.

While Qin Feng spends a month advancing in the Shadow Realm, Tara gathers scientific equipment from Eagle Country and other countries and converts an empty stone hall into a functioning research base. He describes the supplies as donations from “friends” 13.

Tara also presents the researchers’ proposal to experiment on Super Soldiers and develop countermeasures against them. Qin Feng approves on the condition that he personally install backdoor programs in the resulting weapons. When Tara suggests taking test subjects from Dragon Country, Qin Feng forbids it and leads him to the sealed Soton instead 14.

Battle with Sno

After Qin Feng awakens and restrains Soton, Sno arrives and demands custody of the crocodilian warrior. Tara fights him on Qin Feng’s orders, combining his dagger, telekinesis, and longsword before summoning the Dark Demon Serpent against Sno’s skeletal giant 15 16 17.

Sno ultimately escapes through a spatial wormhole. When the angels investigate, Tara conceals his reaction as Qin Feng falsely attributes Soton’s release to Sno. Du Kao and Ryze later review footage of Tara’s battle 18 21.

Breakthrough and Sun Wukong’s Retreat

Tara’s preparations for advancement prevent him from joining a sparring match against the Super Soldier Company. He completes the breakthrough in less than a day and rushes to Qin Feng after sensing fighting nearby 31 38.

Finding Ika engaged with Sun Wukong, Tara takes over the confrontation. He breaks the Golden Cudgel and wounds Sun Wukong with its fragments, forcing him to flee. Qin Feng stops Tara from pursuing, citing both Sun Wukong’s hidden power and his strategic importance on Blue Star 38 39.

Dealings with Morgana

Tara accompanies Qin Feng to Morgana’s settlement and prevents Ato from interfering in their negotiations. His display of power prompts Morgana to recognize his fourth-generation level. He later remains behind to guard Qin Feng’s property and monitor Morgana’s return 40 41 43.

He subsequently delivers ten sets of Dark Alloy Armor directly to Demon One’s bridge through the shadows. After startling Morgana and Ato with his arrival, he follows Ato to collect the resources owed in exchange 60 61.

Conquest of the Hundred Flowers Star System

Tara leads nine Ghost Generals into General Yibo’s palace and kills him with psychic power. He then assigns targets across the Jiujiang System and neighboring systems, ordering the deployment of Ultimate Darkness to accelerate the campaign. His objective is to secure the territory as a gift for Qin Feng’s emergence from seclusion and capture the Insect Mother alive 67.

After bringing Yan, Leng, and A Zhui to observe the campaign, Tara prevents the Insect Mother from escaping and holds her while Ika fits a Dark Energy Restrictor around her neck 70 71 74 75.

Yan recommends Fengxu Star as a new base because its existing research facilities would spare them from rebuilding. Tara considers the proposal favorable but reserves the decision for Qin Feng, who later approves the site 75 78.

Intelligence on Ryze

Tara later reports that Ryze killed Du Kao and used his corpse in an attack on Lieyang’s Stellar Core intended to implicate the Taotie. Yan then dismisses Tara into the shadows so she can speak privately with Qin Feng 79.
