"Ugh..." Homelander suddenly raised a hand and pressed his temple.

Soldier Boy asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"

"A little dizzy." Homelander waved a hand and closed his eyes, taking a moment to recover.

This was a weakness he had always had but had never exposed in front of anyone.

He did possess near-invincible abilities, but that did not mean he could use them without any cost.

Active abilities like Super Vision and Super Hearing collected vast amounts of information with every use and fed it back to his brain.

The more information his brain processed, the more mental energy it consumed.

Under normal circumstances, using those two abilities together was no burden to him at all. He could maintain them for hours.

But just now, he had used four active abilities at once, significantly increasing his mental expenditure. He could not keep up with all of them, and his brain could not bear the load either, causing a bout of dizziness.

A few seconds later, Homelander returned to normal and felt just how tricky this was.

He had never feared a head-on confrontation because he was confident his superpowers were strong enough.

But faced with an enemy who had left no traces, he had nowhere to start.

Soldier Boy lit a cigar, filling the smoke-free Information Security Department with smoke. "Did you find anything?"

Homelander shook his head helplessly. He recalled the information in Vought's files. Among the Supes currently in the country, some could release toxins, but none could come anywhere close to this, much less conceal themselves perfectly right under his nose.

Soldier Boy closed his eyes, fully immersed in thought.

In his memories, from season one through season five of The Boys, there had never been a plot in which everyone in Vought Tower was poisoned.
