[Ding] [Homelander's choice detected: give up on creating Deaf Man.] [Mission reward: Super Strength increased to level 8, Exchange Points ×100]

Soldier Boy felt a surge of delight. Fuck, Old Popsicle, have you been possessed? Why are you being so generous?

[...]

The system did not answer.

Feeling thoroughly pleased, Soldier Boy rolled his shoulders and threw a few punches, his fists slicing through the air with sharp whistles. The gusts sent Ashley's hair flying.

Blindspot turned his ears toward Soldier Boy in even greater astonishment. From the sound alone, he could tell that Soldier Boy's casual punches seemed far more powerful than Homelander's.

Not bad, not bad. Soldier Boy nodded inwardly.

Level 8 Super Strength was many notches above level 7 in terms of performance.

He even felt that Homelander might not be able to withstand this punch, and his Exchange Points had risen from 90 to 190.

"All right, Ashley, pay some fucking attention next time. Send this idiot to the Medical Team." Soldier Boy waved a hand.

Ashley nodded almost reflexively. Blindspot was still gasping as he was dragged away. He did not know why Homelander had spared him; he only felt as though he had been pulled back from the brink of death.

Soldier Boy also left the training ground. As he stepped through the doors, a thought surfaced in his mind.

If he remembered correctly, Blindspot had awakened Super Hearing as compensation for losing his sight.

Then, if he were slapped deaf, perhaps he could awaken Super Smell or Super Taste.

"Heh." Soldier Boy chuckled. "Ashley, give Blindspot some compensation and transfer him to a city farther from New York. Don't let him keep hanging around in front of Homelander."

With Blindspot's emotional intelligence, he was probably worse than The Deep.
