Kenji stole a glance at the speedboat nearby, trying to use his powers to pilot it away again.
He had stopped beside the reef intending to fight Soldier Boy.
But the strength Soldier Boy displayed far exceeded his expectations.

Kenji cursed inwardly, then quickly jumped onto the speedboat and raised both hands to propel it. But the instant he jumped, Soldier Boy had already moved behind the boat.
He grabbed the edge of the speedboat and brought the entire vessel to a halt.
Kenji's eyes widened. He looked back at him, pushing his telekinesis to its limit.
Yet the speedboat still could not move an inch. Soldier Boy grabbed Kenji by the throat with his other hand and slammed him onto the rocks in the shallows.
Stormfront, who had arrived some time ago, reacted quickly and pinned Kenji down.
Kenji struggled to get up, only to immediately witness an unbelievable sight.
Soldier Boy gripped the speedboat with one hand, lifted it effortlessly, and gave it a mighty throw. The entire boat instantly became a tiny speck, flying toward the horizon.
"Where's the Shining Light Liberation Army's base?" Soldier Boy asked.
Kenji gritted his teeth and said nothing. His eyes darted around as he secretly raised a hand, trying to fling away Stormfront, who was restraining him.

Stormfront slapped Kenji across the face, electricity arcing through the blow and leaving his whole body numb. "Ben asked you a question. Are you mute?"
"You two are Vought's lapdogs," Kenji spat through gritted teeth.
Soldier Boy smiled. It looked like Kenji would not talk anytime soon.
He crouched down and gripped Kenji's collar. "I don't like wasting time. What's your relationship with Kimiko?" He leaned a little closer.
