• Butcher attacked Homelander with a grenade, but Homelander protected bystanders, flew him to Becca’s cabin, and offered to let Becca leave with him.
• Butcher stayed committed to Becca and Ryan, while Soldier Boy and Private Angel encountered Bombsight and persuaded him to surrender the Original Compound V in exchange for losing his powers.
• Soldier Boy used his chest energy to remove Bombsight’s powers, then convened Vought’s Supes to establish rules and create the Sword of Damocles oversight plan.
• Soldier Boy gave Homelander the Original Compound V, and Homelander injected it despite Soldier Boy’s attempt to stop him.

They left Kailong alive for the moment and ordered The Deep to keep it from reaching the ocean’s other Super Fish.

• Stormfront failed to stop the Supe criminals in Maine, so Homelander flew in and used Heat Vision to cripple them and end their riot.
• Homelander brought Ryan to Vought Tower after Ryan chose to live with him, and Soldier Boy welcomed him back.
• Soldier Boy learned from The Deep that Kailong had appeared and that Ambrosius knew about powerful Super Fish, so he and Homelander investigated.
• The Deep and Soldier Boy used Ambrosius as bait, and Kailong arrived, ate her tentacle, and began transforming as Homelander and Soldier Boy attacked.
• Kailong became intangible, withstood Homelander’s Heat Vision and Soldier Boy’s Nuclear Chest Blast, and survived as a tiny creature in the crater.

Soldier Boy and Homelander learned that Super Fish feared visitors from beyond and investigated their hidden depths, capturing the powerful Black Octopus Jerry. As they prepared to warn the world, Gideon attacked Vought Tower, and his clash with Soldier Boy ended in a massive explosion that left both Soldier Boys motionless.

• The Deep accepted Homelander’s mission to keep Kailong from interfering, and Soldier Boy and Homelander confronted Kailong, who made a blood pact with Soldier Boy.
